    Rustoleum enamel

I wait 3 days and when I sand to get it perfectly flat I let that sanded paint dry for another 3 days.

That sounds about right. Temperature might affect that rule of thumb, though. I seem to remember reading somewhere here that rustoleum says their product is fully cured after 7 days at 70F. I don't remember the associated number for humidity as the other factor. 50%?
