So is it even safe to build a spray booth in your attached garage for spraying cabinets with flammable paints and clear coats? Even if done properly, will spraying in a booth in your attached garage still result in fumes in the house?

I want to build a booth in my garage because I find it too hard to paint well outside however I am very concerned about inadvertently igniting the fumes. Seems like many potential issues for serious injury. Design and build seems easy enough but the safety issue seems like it could be a deal breaker for many.

Thanks for the response Vid. What about safety in terms of flammable fumes. I suspect you must first be sure to have the correct amount of airflow but then also not have the fumes come in contact with a potential sparking source...like exhaust fan. Do you have any particular guidance on how to ensure you isolate the fumes from the electric part of the exhaust fan?
