Like my other thread (Stern's History) I like capturing the history of games produced by a company as sometimes the data is interesting to compare with each other or other games by other manufacturers and helpful in determining info down the track for whatever reason as later on will be harder to find in one location.

The stern one can be found here:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/sterns-game-release-history

I am sure some of this data maybe incorrect, so please post any info that needs correcting. I have included all games produced and not just their own production games but contracted games as well and where they fit into the scheme of production based on when they were released. I think Spooky have done an incredible job and I look forward to seeing what they make in the future. The prices are what I could find as their release price but maybe incorrect on 1-2 of them. And if anyone knows of how many games went overseas that would be cool data as well and what revision boards for the different games - all cool data.

Great thread, thanks!

Was AMH really $6,250? I thought it was $6,000 and then had the plastic protectors and LED upgrades available for an additional charge, but it's been a few years so I don't remember for sure.

#4 6 years ago

Price for amh and RZ both 6k I believe

Quoted from FalconPunch:

Oh yeah didn't notice the RZ price as well. Standard was $6k and LE was $6.5k. Those I remember for sure.

#6 6 years ago

I think AMH and RZ were both $5,995, and I believe AMH came out in April/May of 2014.
Can't wait to see ACNC.

thanks guys, adjusted those prices now before the post is locked

Interesting game summary. Don’t really know much about spooky pinball, what’s the company history?
When was it started?
Who started it?
How have their games been received?

The "Things that go bump in the night" dvd would be a good one to watch to answer some of those questions.

Fact Capture - Mid Feb 2018 - Ben Heck has left Spooky to pursue other ventures and also because the license for his game could not be purchased for what Spooky wanted, so his project was shelved. Ben gave programming support to Alice Coopers Nightmare Castle due for release mid March 2018.

#11 6 years ago

I cant confirm it....but heard only 120 Jetsons were made. Thanks for posting.

Officially, (from Spooky), Alice Cooper is their 4th official game.

The others are considered contract games and not official.

AMH
RZ
TnA
ACNC

So maybe to avoid confusion, Dominos and Jetsons should be labeled as “contract games”

rd

#18 6 years ago

I’d say TNA is an outlier since it was already designed prior to signing on. Major kudos to Spooky for manufacturing though! Hopefully, Scott Danesi stays with them for a future design! Even though the numbers are small, they get major street cred for games released with 1.0 code, excellent quality assurance, and customer service! What else do you want? They learned from the Rz disappointment. ACNC is very promising! With Bowen Kerins leading the rules and programming department, so much potential!

I have defined if they are spooky or contract games and believe TNA is a complete machine (externally of Spooky), non spooky theme produced by spooky so fits more the contract build I thought.

Charlie should team up with Brian Holderman and Scott to make a Silver Bullet game (different design, same style art). Updated with p-roc.

Just curious, what was the Australian $ price at the time for a NIB AMH?

#23 5 years ago
Quoted from ausretrogamer:

Just curious, what was the Australian $ price at the time for a NIB AMH?

think it was $10.5k imported + freight from Newcastle / Sydney, I believe

*Contract game* implies that Scott bought all the TNA machines from Spooky and then resold them. This did not happen. Scott designed the game and then Spooky purchased the rights to produce it.

TNA is closer to a licensed game (Scott's license) than anything else.

I thought heard a interview with Scott it was a non defined $ amount per game sold, hence my classification of Contract Game, but your interpretation of Contract makes sense.

I will change it to Scott Danesi Licensed Game

Greetings Spooky Pinball customers, and WELCOME to the many of you who have joined our brand new Fang Club!!!

For those who haven't done so already just use this link and come join the fun!
http://shop.spookypinball.com/Spooky-Pinball-Fang-Club-Memberships_c_14.html

Well the news you've all been waiting for is FINALLY HERE!!! Yes, here is the trailer for the Rick and Morty Pinball reveal.

SALES FOR FANG CLUB MEMBERS WILL OPEN ON MONDAY 12-16-19 AT 9:00 A.M. CENTRAL. You can get a game by reaching out to your favorite Spooky Pinball LLC distributor, or by going to this link at our new webstore to buy direct from Spooky Pinball LLC: http://shop.spookypinball.com/Pinball-Machines_c_13.html

Price is $6995 .... The Blood Suckers edition is an additional $525 if you choose that upgrade. With no expense spared on the design, many quality updgrades, video, music, speech, and a HUGE custom speech package from star and co-creater of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, we feel this is one VERY special game at a great price!

Just give your distributor your name, address, and mention you are a Fang Club member to purchase from them. Simple!

When the webstore runs out of stock, you'll need to search out a distributor for their stock. They have their allotments, and Spooky has ours already in place.

We understand the demand may outweigh the supply on this incredibly popular title! Please be patient and your best bet is to buy early.

Sales for the general public will open at 9 a.m. on December 30th, 2019.

ALL FANG CLUB BLOOD SUCKER EDITION GAMES WILL BE BUILT FIRST! We've already ordered the metal and powdercoat for the first run of these games and they will be done in order. BLOOD SUCKER EDITION GAMES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR 1 MONTH FROM THE LAUNCH DATE!! On January 16th, they will be gone forever and become standard package games.

YOU CAN BUY A STANDARD GAME AT THIS TIME AS WELL... the only differences are cosmetic (no gameplay / playfield feature differences!), but please be aware your standard games will be built AFTER the Fang Club / Blood Sucker games.

Please remember... when you make your initial payment, you are committing to buy a custom game made to your specifications from Spooky Pinball LLC. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! If you can't complete your purchase it is up to you to find a buyer for your game.

All add-ons such as lighted speaker kits, knockers, shakers, plastic protectors, and best of the the BEAUTIFUL Butter cabinets will be shown and offered shortly before your game is ready to ship to you. No need to address those items at this time.

If we sell all 750 games, the estimated build time is 18 months from start to finish... AND WE START BUILDING IN JUST A FEW SHORT DAYS, RIGHT AFTER CHRISTMAS BREAK!!!

We think you'll love the design Scott Danesi has given the world to go with the coolest TV show in decades. We've improved quality in everything from the electronics to the back box lighting and a MUCH improved speaker / display panel for super easy access. Can't wait to get these games out in the wild so you can see what we've created.

We apologize for not getting full mode / gameplay videos out farther in advance, but we'll be doing MUCH more of this in the very near future! Such is the life of a small pinball company with a huge license on our hands.

Thank you for supporting our small family based business... AND GET READY FOR SOME INTERDIMENSIONAL PINBALL MADNESS WITH RICK AND MORTY!!!

America’s Most Haunted, their first and arguably best is in my collection and will be until I’m 6 feet under. Rob Zombie... good art work, but game flow not so great. Alice Cooper has better game flow. Rick and Morty could be a big hit. Key will be the humor IMO..., well that plus some good shots, ramps, etc. Much better theme than Sterns new Stranger Things.

Spooky was started by Charlie and Kayte. Really good folk. Their first efforts don't rival the scope of a JJP or American Pinball, but they’re more affordable and fun. JJP games are gorgeous, but I just haven’t seen the fun factor - at least for me.

Great Thread. I forgot about this one until today. I wish the games weren’t hard or I was a better player. I’d probably own them all if that were true.

My collection includes
- AMH with some fun custom lighting additions and Herg color display.
- TNA tricked out with the speaker lights and side rails.

Code has plenty of depth. What keeps me coming back are the callouts. It has the most variety of any game I have owned.

It's my favorite too. I think the code has more depth than people realize, because Ben Heck added a lot of centent long after release, like the 'Bumps in the Night' mini-wizard mode. This game is just criminally underrated, imo. It has some of the most unique playfield toys of the last decade!
