Maybe in, depending on how it looks, layout etc.
I'd like to be in based on the theme alone, but the bottom line is that even just the Blood Sucker edition will be around $9k all said and done. That's a lot of scratch and a lot of other great games could be had for the $$$. This game is going to need to look and play good too.
Quoted from Zablon:That's going to get some serious cabinet fade

Quoted from KozMckPinball:He was in The Great Escape as well.

Also The Eagle Has Landed, Frankenstein's Great Aunt Tillie, and a lot of others.
LTG : )
Getting more and more psyched for this as the updates roll in. Just signed up for the fang club. Think I’m going to try and go for the collectors edition.
Quoted from fsumassey:Looking at getting this as my first spooky NIB. How long are the waits usually for the machines?
From 1-2 months to 18 months on the last one depending on what # you get. I expect slightly faster turnaround this time barring any issues.

thanks for that! I’m aiming for the bloodsucker edition so that will be middle of the run. I’m guessing maybe 6 months?
Kaneda said the reveal will be tomorrow morning. I can't find confirmation of this anywhere else, even on the Spooky page.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? Seems odd they'd post gameplay without announcing it first.

Luke said announcements on Monday in the other thread.

No. If they are building CE first that’s the one most will order.
My guess that most people will buy the CE to get the topper. Likely most of the rest will get the BS. Likely if you don’t get a CE you’re like 12 months out. However that’s just speculation but my opinion.

Oh wow! That's pretty crazy. Thanks for the heads up though.
Also, is the butter cabinet worth the extra 1k?
Quoted from fsumassey:Also, is the butter cabinet worth the extra 1k?
If you got 1k to pay for the sides of your cabinet you'll probably never see.

No, but If you are really spending over 9k for a spooky and theme floats your boat - what’s another 1k at that point?

Not worth it for resale value, but dolphin smooth cabinets your thing? Yes.
Glossy ass all day forever? Yes.
Damage or scratch the cab at all, then wish you were dead? Yep. No repairing that.

Great for minor scratches. Gouges? Not so much. Maybe re coat with clear as long as art is not damaged. My first gen WOZECLE had a butter cab. I was sweating bullets until we had her in place with legs bolted on.
Some people have so much money 1000 dollars is nothing. If you are in that category, then I would get the butter cab for sure if, it's something you want. Why not?
Quoted from fsumassey:Also, is the butter cabinet worth the extra 1k?
I have R&M and TNA didn’t get butter. Most especially if you plan on selling it some point in the future I’d pass on butter.
Spooky decals are very nice so it’s not like you are upgrading from a bad decal.
I’m not spending your money but for myself I’d save the money and get PDI glass for 3 machines.
This looks really incredible and is the most packed Spooky game so far. Can't wait to play it.
But I'm out.
Spooky better hand out an extra Myers figure in every box. I’d be aiming for that dude like a shooting gallery.
Wow, it looks amazing they nailed it. The theme is so integrated, this is what pinball should be. I can't wait to see how much that topper costs, people are going to go crazy for it.
This just popped up on Collider:
Use flippers to change location of skill shot. Then launch and shoot fast!
Lock a ball behind each hedge to start hedge multiball. Reveal Michael behind each hedge by shooting the left ramp. Then hurry to shoot Michael Jackpots!
Shoot the Michael Super Jackpot to complete mode.
Shoot the right ramp to get to the Smith Grove Sanitarium Playfield. Then shoot the scoop to start Sanitarium Mode. Complete all red lit shots for Michael to escape! Then gather patients for super Jackpot.
When Hedge Multiball and Smith Grove Sanitarium have been visited, you can qualify House mode by shooting the center ramp twice. Now get to that uppermost playfield! Complete orbits to battle Michael and shoot the balcony to win! (Hold the flipper on the upper playfield orbit for a wicked combo
Start pumpkin modes by shooting either left or right orbit and clear the center drop target bank. Now shoot the pumpkin to start mode! Follow lit shots and directions to help Michael get victims/help Laurie Strode escape! By finishing each mode to full completion, Jack-O-Lantern Multiball will be lit.
After visiting Hedge Mode, Sanitarium, House Mode, and all Six Jack-O-Lantern Modes, Boogeyman (sub) Wizard mode will begin. Lock all 7 balls in the order given to you to complete Boogeyman Wizard mode, the enjoy your victory lap multiball!!
If you’ve completed all modes to their fullest extent, Night He Came Home Wizard mode will be lit.
Just saw someone posted the link above.
Game looks neat... no offense to spooky, but my big concern is: Rules by Bug Emory and Fawmza.
Paying $8-9k plus for a game with rules created a first timer (and Fawzma, who did a decent but not stellar job on ACNC)... doesn’t excite me too much.
Damn... looks like one of the kiddos is going to be paying for themselves next semester. LOL.
Video looks impressive. Can't wait to see more, especially the differences between the editions.
Can't deny it looks amazing. Place it next to Haunted House... in a lineup. Triple levels all around!
