Quoted from ToucanF16:It would be nice if they publish STD/BSE/CE numbers.
The $1000 jump from STD to BSE is good bang for the buck. However, IMHO, the thousand dollar jump from BSE to CE is more of a money grab.
You get a fair amount extra , better powder coat . Powder on coin door and speakers , better speaker panels , topper , extra toy . Shooter rod . Maybe more ?
Quoted from Damonator:I’ll concede your speaker panel point - I didn’t know the BSE panel was powdered. But standard side armor price is $250:

Actually I think the BSE is just the “black wrinkle” powder . Also doesn’t have the cool grills . All that said BSE is a good value in hindsight vs CE.
Quoted from Frax:It's not. I made it a point to confirm this yesterday. There's pictures and stuff in this very thread...
Ahh ok , well it calls it “standard “ powder for the backbox so I was mislead . The black powder that is on the BSE is very cool for sure .
Quoted from Rarehero:This game doesn’t have a DMD.

Yeah yeah you know what I mean .
LCD
Quoted from Sandman454:I have got a feeling it might be clips from the original show started bac in 1966, so video based.
Does seem to have some cartoon based elements .. maybe both . I’d prefer the anime but I am sure the original will be campy and fun .
Godzilla vs Ultraman
Godzilla has a bit more going on mechanically, its very intriguing.
But...the rest of the packing, art, sound unique layout I think Ultraman Wins!
Tough call But I am already in on UltraMan LOL
Quoted from TheBeefSupreme:Ha I’ll let you know, I’m 95!
That is if I hold my spot. I think I will enjoy this game but I am getting pretty nervous about how it’s coming along.
Haha cool , yeah me too but I'm sure it will be good I think they just got in over their heads on the code ?
Quoted from TechnicalSteam:I don't think Bowen is on it at all. I haven't read anything saying that he still is involved more to the contrary.
TPN Final Round Pinball was talking as if he was off the code entirely.. Would be nice to know whats up.
Think that's a joke notice the growing nose emoji
I sure hope they know what they are doing with th code maybe having a 19 year old with no experience running it was not the best move ? Time will tell , I'm hopeful.
Quoted from TheBeefSupreme:I’m 95, didn’t get my invoice yet either. Just the first email. I think we will get it in the next week or two.
Odd
Quoted from SpookyLuke:This goes to show how tough creative decisions are lol!
LOL SpookyLuke well at a minimum lets work on new rules, modes etc before that
Got my email on #96 last week, went butter. Take good care of her for me
Quoted from PinMonk:No apologies necessary! Opinions are opinions. I'm not against the graphics per-se. They're just way too large relative to the display with the action on it the proportions are out of whack. If people like them (not me, there's plenty of Ultraman on the backglass and cab for another static one taking up valuable real-estate on the display where moving images are supposed to go), shrink them a bit so the screen can be larger.
Or, win/win make an option on the system menu for the action display. Mini/Max. Everyone wins.
I am sure there is a good middle ground. Stern did do a god job with the Zilla assets.
Quoted from Palmer:Rough draft of what I am talking about. I think something along these lines would be a lot better. Maybe make the top corners look more like control panel pieces but you get the drift.[quoted image]
Ok this I can get on board with, maybe PinMonk just isn't as good at pinball screen design as he is at coil temp testing and wordsmithing. LOL JK man .
I do feel like the battles could use a health meter that would be cool.
