New video from Allentown. Awesome game!
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:There is a metal flap over the entry point so an incoming ball will just roll over the top after the lift goes back under. I was a bit worried about this myself but after imagining it for awhile I think it will work really well.
We talked to Luke. The plastics over the slingshots are flexible. Also, there are small rubber or plastic stand-offs instead of screws holding them down. If a ball is trapped when the lifter raises in just the exact wrong time, the plastic pops off. You simply snap it back down. They say they have never seen it happen during testing as the ball will normally just roll off the lifter but they designed the possibility into the game. Pretty nice!
