CE. Love the trim on the BS. The CE trim looks too close to R&M but the topper!!

Quoted from lpeters82:I'm just curious. For those that purchased Ultraman, are you more into the classic tv show style or comic style? I personally have zero nostalgia for the classic tv show, so I much prefer the assets from comics. I think it's going to be a mix either way, so just wondering what others are more interested in seeing.

Part of the problem is there are better John Carpenter movies, in my very humble opinion. The Thing, They Live, Escape from..., Big Trouble in Little China...people seem interested in the machine (three playfield's, seven ball locks etc) more than theme. At least in Although, it is neat to see where Power Rangers and such got inspration.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Ah man, I need to pay closer attention to this thread, I would have loved the foil cover one.
By the way, speaking of Sold Out, I know Ultraman is sold through (ie Spooky sold out) but did the distributors ever sell out?
I’m still debating going for the butter cabinet…I’ve not done that with any of my prior Spooky games. How durable is the butter? More or less likely to scratch? I take great care of my games and all, but I’m planning to put Ultraman in a very prominent place in my house that has kids running around and what not…
Automotive clear coat. How well does a cars paint job hold up if it’s not driven?
Quoted from marksf123:has PinballSTAR started to release numbers?
I havent seen an email.
Quoted from ezeltmann:Ultraman was impressive. The limit was one ball , so it was hard to a get a complete feel.
The Uttraman thread has a link to a video of some upper playfield play and a multiball.
The shots all felt good and the loops were really buttery smooth with the right loop having a GETAWAY feel for repetition.
The "lifters" were surprising everyone with drains because its an unexpected ball feed from a blind spot in the inlane.
LCD graphic display worked well the the battling and the animations were interesting.
Spooky team has done it again; and the crew watched almost every game . smiling and encouraging the players. Youth in pinball design and manufacturing is a refreshing addition to the landscape.
Wondering if the call outs (besides the lights seen in videos) reveal the lifters “doing their job” in the in lane.

Quoted from jurulz:First videos (not mine)
About the 21-23 sec on the second video.
Quoted from TigerLaw:My understanding is they are production samples, and not prototypes. Not that there is a huge difference in being a prototype vs. a sample, but there are some differences: https://www.leftyproductionco.com/post/2018-3-15-prototype-vs-sample-is-there-a-difference
Concept applied in different way, See FAR Subpart 9.3 and/or 48 CFR Subpart 9.3
Quoted from RobT:Can't tell anything from that pic
Definitely difference is color. Seems like Roostking is on to some truth.
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:That is so dope. Can you still buy that? I recall one of them being timed or something? Love that color scheme.
Sold Out.
Quoted from TigerLaw:That looks awesome! What size is it and where did you get it?
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:If their company is in a tower with a vault in the basement, I wont be attending this year's Christmas party.
So, you’re not John McClane?
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:No. That is not something Spooky has gotten into yet.
Pricing problem at 2,000 sheets?
Interesting that 5,500 sheets (JJP) shows a different income model.
Quoted from Knapp_Arcade:I found the new Spooky Ultraman Blood Sucker Edition on location! Here's my thoughts and a ton of pictures of it if anyone is interested.

Collector's Edition
After watching Dri374 steam, the code does need work. But the game is fresh.

Should it have had a playfield under the main, the art is cool, yet…it would/could have been done; and added to the art. Of pinball.
Quoted from RikeIsland:Has anyone streamed the newest Ultraman code?
Only found the Halloween so far.
Quoted from Morinack:Anyone know of locations in the San Jose or Bay area that have an Ultraman? Sent a pic of mine to my daughter and now she wants to play.

Interesting problem at the beginning with the left inlane (@09:52).
Quoted from Gambeno:Man this game is really fun to shoot and is very challenging. The lights and OST is killer. Videos don't do it justice. Can't imagine what it will be like when the code is complete.

Still no shooter rod. Does the fan still sound like a faint car horn?
Doesnt look butter...? Colors & art are amazing.
Keep hoping the game turns out to be a patient shooter. Lots of precise shooting.
Cant help but think the heads up needs to be reduced and the campy 4x3 aspect should be bigger or a more layered approach.

Quoted from desertT1:Do we know who this is? Would be nice to get to know them a little and welcome them.
Or cowerer from Pinside and the limelight for a bit to grow wings. Earth is a harsh wasteland of criticism.
Quoted from spooky_dj:Hey All! I just wanted to reassure you guys that we have definitely not abandoned UM! I won't give a specific timeframe, but we will be pushing out another UM update soon. Hang in there! We are alternating between HWN and UM, so don't worry if you don't see updates for each one come out at the same time. Further down the line, we may even see some divergence between the HWN and UM code, but we're still relatively early in development to set anything in stone.
2.0 code for both machines (because Spooky is writing two) would be a great feature. Should a deviation of game play happen. Easy enough to change the licensing assets after the code is complete.
