Why not? I like the idea of two game releases at the same time. It certainly lowers their R&D cost and gets some more pins out on the street.

Has anyone started a poll on how many bought both Halloween and Ultraman?
Just my informal observation is most people went for the CE.
It would be nice if they publish STD/BSE/CE numbers.
The $1000 jump from STD to BSE is good bang for the buck. However, IMHO, the thousand dollar jump from BSE to CE is more of a money grab.

I suspect they will be shipped the same unless you special request when build time comes.
Spooky is really good about build to order changes. They even worked with having PFs Kuzman clear coated prior to build in some cases.
I think Spooky is trying to get away from À la cart manufacturing; that’s why they went to the STD/BSE/CE model. Removing and separately packing the topper would be at PITA for Spooky; taking away from time and resources for cranking out other games for the rest of us pinheads.
I have better cabs on my three (soon to be four) Spooky machines. They’re a sight to behold. But if your games or jammed together it’s probably a waste of $1K to not be able to see and enjoy the phenomenal finish.

I didn’t know BSE was a FANG members only edition.
I’m rather entertained by this whole thread and the fact so many people, grown adults, get so wrapped up in their numbers, production rates, raffle tickets and when they’re going to get their pin. Spooky always delivers. We’ll soon be singing the praises when we have our new pin!

I’m still debating going regular or butter.I’d really like to get my inner loop a bit more dialed in. It’s almost impossible to hit if the ball comes in right along the rail in what should be a normal feed shot. The inner loop is the one shot I wish was easier to aim for and hit regularly.
Go with butter. Much better than margarine. You won’t be disappointed
