I think it’s so funnny that so many of us grabbed the companion comic to this machine…I’m picturing marvel comics in the conference room “yes, the variant issue sold out…and sold out fast…what happened?!?!”

But then I got to thinking, are there any other pinball machine companion comics or books or anything other than a flyer?!?! Anyone know of any other machines with an interesting literary companion?

No-go on the butter cab. I would only go butter if every game in my collection was butter and I went all out on everything. Which I don’t. It’s in a line up of 12 machines. The artwork is phenomenal and a shame it won’t be seen in my collection as it’s just lined up with other games. But unless you’re a onesy twosy threesy collector - I would suspect your cabinet won’t be seen either…and there are many other things on which to drop a grand.

So here’s the real question: who has actually played the game and been unsatisfied and therefore is dumping?! No one.

Pinball in general is hot right now. Everyone is chasing the newest and shiniest following Ultraman. Godzilla. Cactus canyon. Lords of Valhalla.

But With Ultraman, you’ve got like 350 CEs only. The true limited of the limited of all the shiny stuff. And it looks fantastic. Once these start finding homes where people appreciate the game versus chasing shiny…there will be no supply.

Ultraman is probably better positioned for value in the long haul versus anything else.

The fact that some people are selling spots at a discount has nothing to do with spooky or the game. My assumption is that most People selling at a loss now are literally chasing quick cash. They’ve been buying machines when they just don’t have the true means to do so. And now they have FOMO for the next release.

Do y’all really think spooky is going to let Ultraman suck? Doubt it. Strong commitment here from 168. Holding tight and feeling good baby!!

I’m looking to keep UM and I may add Godzilla in future. In 2 years, you will not be able to find UM unless the game literally sucks and no one wants to permanently house it. I just don’t see the suck happening. Only 500 total. Only ~350 CE. Once those all get housed and supply dries…good luck.

I also bought UM to look at and not play it cuz it’s a damn fine art package - the best package in my sole opinion I’ve seen on any game. If I end up playing it…that’s just gravy!

How many times have recent games been dumped due to negative early press and early code then crazy demand once no longer produced and code matures. I’m looking at you POTC and GB and many others. In 2 years, you can pickup NIB Godzilla pro/premium or gently used no problem.
