Quoted from Trekkie1978:Always remember, the invisible hand of the market will always dictate prices.
The people that hand over the money dictates the market from what ive been taught.
If Spooky charges 9k people will pay it, I bet if they charge 15k the same people will pay it. Consumers have the power to drive the market down just by not buying, but its impossible for pinheads to say no. For the 50 people that are mad about the price and being loud about it, there are 100 people in the shadows quietly counting out the money ready to pay. The anger should be directed towards the dummies that are buying because when these sell out in 10 minutes all this bitching will be for nothing because 250 people will prove that 9k isnt a problem.
I for one will not be buying for 9k, simply because its 9k no other reason, so what does my protest get me? Absolutely nothing. Literally. And someone else will gladly pay it. The only way this crap stops is if all pinheads stop handing over the money.

Quoted from jdoz2:It’s a game made by Scott. Spooky is paying him to make the game. The game is a licensed game.
Being a licensed game then couldnt the theme be picked up by Stern and have 2500 units made at $6900?
Quoted from beltking:I don’t think any of the little issues are concerning.

For the price of this game I’d lose my fucking mind if this game wasn’t exactly like or even better than the original. What do you mean aren’t concerning???
Bill comes to $10k and “meh I guess it’s alright” is the defended response???
Quoted from AAAV8R:You need to quit posting because your posts are keeping me up at night. I can only surmise your game was put together on a Friday night or a Monday morning.
There have been quite a few other games delivered so far. Has anyone else had ANY of these issues? Because, my game is set to be done next week and I’m “getting very concerned”.
Ahh come on man don’t let paying $10k for a potential “project TNA” get you down!
Quoted from gprotein:Gotta hurry them up to collect $9K a pop before either FOMO runs out or recession hits pin market, whichever is sooner...
Did they sell all 250 yet?

Our mutual friend Phil just texted me this same picture. My knees got weak when I opened the text
Quoted from Deez:I believe it's pronounced BOOtique.
Well your game plays like it’s supposed to now so you should rake in 10’s of dollars over the next year or so.
Quoted from manadams:Looks like you got a lemon if you're having to modify sling placement under the playfield. I would be sending it back before I went to that extent and I own four Spooky games.
Quoted from Deez:I believe most of the CEs need this same adjustment. They were all installed wrong from the factory. The kicker is up against the sling rubber making the stitches insensitive.
Before the major surgery the arm of the sling was pressing into the rubber. When you pull the mech you see the original holes and the actual holes in the wood. The problem is the original holes put the arm a mile away from the sling rubber and the switches would need to be mangled super far forward to register action from the rubber. And then the arm hardly made it to the rubber to kick the ball.
Deez has a bunch of spook games at the brewery also so I gauged the distance on Rick and morty for reference and the screw needed to be right in the middle of the 2 holes. Hence the need for a dowel or otherwise it would be an even bigger mess.
Scott suggested drilling out the metal of the mech to make it adjustable but a $5 dowel from Ace Hardware basically gave us a blank template to line it up and screw it in where it was supposed to go.
Then we played the absolute shit out of it after that
Quoted from j69:Which swing was the issue with so I can check mine please? I haven't noticed any issues so far
Check this post out just a few lower than the one you quoted:

The arm of the kicker was pushing the rubber from the sling forward because it was installed so far forward. The ball would hit the sling and the arm wouldnt allow the rubber to press the switches.
Quoted from MasterBlaster:I believe he was asking which sling it was. Looks to be the right-hand one, the one nearest the shooter lane…is that correct?
I had to do it to both sides
