So much talk on the non-refundable deposits.

Although I do agree about showing gameplay prior to day 1 sales, this is another flex build / build to suit orders. Spooky needs to know what are buying, thefore you commit. Some, possibly all of the distributors will buy a fixed amount of these and you can then buy a fixed build model from them. Now, if this is truly a 'sell out' then you will have to find one on the second hand market. Seems logical to me.

Quoted from CypherPinball:

One thing I just noticed on pics in previous page, no plunger, just button.

That is because the launch shot just 180's up to the right habitrail and down to the flippers. No need for varying plunge.

So now we wait for game#

Quoted from Billygrippo:

Butter cab is $1449 this time…..

We have both ACNC and HWCE in butter and that was when butter was $1k USD ($1500 CDN). Both are gorgeous, show piece pins but it's unfortunately a hard pass at $1449 USD.

Quoted from metallik:

My JJP WOZ ECLE with their version of butter came pre-scratched so I didn't have to worry about it. Thanks Jack!

Jack scratched your ECLE?! Damn him!

#2237 1 year ago

That's no stinkin' sticker, that's some serious butter. Mmm butter.....

Oh sure, rub it in... Now I really want one. Looks awesome!! Congrats on the beautiful machine.

Thanks, I do love it and you just have to see it from top to bottom. Fun, unique and low production pin.

Just playing the HWCE with 1.09 code and am ecstatic about the adds. Just keeps getting better IMO. Loving our Spooky pins so far and looking forward to Scooby.

Doesn't seem accurate to add it until it's in my house.

I agree, I plan to add to my wish list until in the house. [Added.]

Quoted from nicoga3000:

Asked somewhere else, but this seems like a good place to ask, too.
How deep are Spooky games typically?

I have two and thinks that they are deep, object oriented games. This one will be the same or better and I am guessing better as the team is at their best at this point, IMO.

Welcome to phase 2.

I was phase 2 about 30 mins after buying.

Can someone tell me where I am in line??

You are almost out of frame with the red carry bag.

Quoted from 2pupPinz:

GB is one of the best games ever. Love it!!!

We desperately need to find someone who is going to make aftermarket Spike 1 node boards or our GBs are going to end up a large paperweight. I seem to recall that there might be something in the works, let's hope!

#145 here and a buddy of mine has #141 also through Nitro.

Can't wait to see what this suprise is!! The word "secure" leads me to believe it's a licensed asset which is super exciting!! Maybe the "coin, coin, coin" attract mode sound? Maybe some chase scene music? Whatever it is, I'm sure it's great!!

I believe that they already have the full assets for seasons 1 and 2.

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

Maybe in imagining it, but I thought I read from Spooky here, that they were hoping to have a live stream set up sometime this month??

Yes, in January but that could be at the end of the month of course. Some will lose their minds in the interim.

Quoted from Mdanielb:

Ordering from Spooky will likely net you an earlier build number. I am certain that it isn’t this dramatic now, but I am #712 ordering in the first 60 seconds from a distributor vs others here ordering in the first 60 seconds from Spooky with numbers sub-#100. I would recommend calling Spooky, and a few distros and asking where you would fall. That is really the primary difference. You will have another advocate going with a distro if any issues arise. Although, issues with a Spooky really won’t be an issue no matter where you purchase. Spooky service is renowned.

A friend and I ordered from Nitro's page within a couple of mintues of Day1 kick-off, for both Halloween and Scooby and am ridiculously low#. HWCE#142 and SCCE#145. Numbers are grouped up and allotted to dealers. So it is anyone's guess but we are within a few count of each of our HW and SD, just sharing.

#5422 1 year ago
Quoted from ls1chris:

i did as well and am CE#142.

So you got the 142!

Congrats! I had hoped to match it to my HWCE but no can do, it's all based on order placement. Did you opt for butter? I passed with the new pricing now, it's beyond reasonable (to me) now.

We're looking forward playing it, especially after the stream.

#5448 1 year ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

It wouldn't be worth it @ 1K

At $1K USD that was $1500 CDN and we added butter to both ACNC CE and HW CE and they are gorgeous but not for SD this time. Those days are gone at $1500 USD ($2000 CDN).

It's the "how to get Scooby up the stairs and in to the house thread". All good. I have an escalera. Love it. Its still a bit of work but it has saved my back.

No, you use Scooby Snacks.

Quoted from SpookyLuke:

Hey guys sorry if this is a bit off topic but I know this is the best place for you all to see it. We added a TON of new and also scratch and dent playfields to our website store! We will also be added a bunch of other factory finds throughout the week. Got some cool rare stuff to like Alice Cooper playfields and Rick and morty.

Hi Luke.

I've sent you a PM, have a couple of questions, hoping that you can help me out.

Thanks!

Quoted from DrWaz:

Are these decal or butter cabinets?

I'm guessing butter as the art appears to be full bleed. We will have to see if someone can confirm but regardless, they look crazy good.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

If you don’t ask your guaranteed a no. That’s what I tell my kids.

The trick then is to ensure that they know, if the answer is 'no', to not keep asking.

#5906 1 year ago
Quoted from metallik:

"Hey, you... grab that hammer and come with me. We need more scratch and dent playfields ASAP"
Artwork on that playfield is awesome.

There is also a 'weathered' and 'antiqued' look but those are each a different SKU#.

Quoted from RussMyers:

I am guessing there will be a brisk business in alternative sculpts, additional toys and signs, etc etc just like with any other popular game.
RM

directly applies to all modders

The one thing that seems to be missing in the comments about butter is that the art is direct print on the wood, full bleed (to edge), it is not a sticker. I have ACNC and HWCE in butter and it is gorgeous. I opted out of butter on SD because with the increase that would be a $2000 CDN price tag. Can't do it unfortunately. I might have added this pic in here already so I apoligize if so but have a look.
