And in case there's any confusion as to what post and person that was.

Quoted from Zablon:You guys all understand that Velma has been gay for decades right? I don't mean to ruin your childhood. The post above comes off pretty homophobic.
No. She has not. She had many crushes on BOYS!! Go away and stop trolling already. Your clearly not a fan.
Lots of great strides towards equality have happened in this country. But if you push too hard too fast it backfires. Velma was never a gay character. She was simply a science nerd. That’s her identity in the show and that’s all it has to be. The show is very one dimensional. That’s part of its charm.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:No. She has not. She had many crushes on BOYS!! Go away and stop trolling already. Your clearly not a fan.
If you actually watch the episodes...you know this is true.
Lets let this go and go back to the pin..(just a suggestion)

Does anyone know if Spooky has said anything about the January Deadflip stream they talked about right after they announced? I checked their recent social media posts and unless I missed something they haven't mentioned it anywhere.

Nothing has been officially set up to my knowledge. Spooky has replied with "this month" for gameplay video. No other specifics.

This does not mesh with my need for immediate gratification!

Thanks! Was just curious if I missed any announcements.
Quoted from GoldenBeard:I’m super duper fucking pumped for this pin. Get on the hype train boys and girls!!
I'm getting there, my plan has been to wait and then scoop up a spot in the middle when someone decides to sell their spot.
PinballStar is spookys biggest distributor and he'll be at the show, so it would be a safe bet that he'll bring some.
Quoted from hawkeyexx:Anyone know if Spooky will be at Allentown this year?
Quoted from Aurich:Oh no, there's a cartoon, and it has a non-white person in it. Jeeves, fetch my fainting couch, I think a feel the vapors coming on.
Anyways, back to arguing about if it's a trail or a subway. Wait a sec, I'm getting a call.
[quoted image]
He says it's definitely called a subway.
I sometimes forget what the main demographic of this forum is. It only takes a few posts to remind me. I wonder who in scooby doo lore many in this thread would most associate themselves with. If I had to guess, most would fall into.......with more modernized memes.

Quoted from Zablon:I sometimes forget what the main demographic of this forum is.
I think the main demographic is people who just want to talk about pinball quite honestly. And with a few glaring exceptions most people I've met in person from this forum have been fucking cool. They're happy to meet someone they see post and just want to talk about cool stuff with me.
If someone is going to show their ass then I'm going to put them on ignore, I'm not trying to debate them. They don't get to represent Pinside.
I haven't watched Velma, maybe it's actually good. Or, maybe it sucks, or is just okay. My guess is it's going after the same audience that liked Harley Quinn. I haven't finished Season 3 of that, but it was alright, sometimes pretty funny. Took a minute to find it's legs, I think they were so focused on "we're for adults! we can swear!" that everything else felt slightly secondary, but then they balanced it out.
The thing is, who cares? Velma is a new show, not related to the game, it's a re-imagining of an old IP for adults. If you didn't like it, alright. You can not be weird about it, that was 100% ass-showing, and I treated it as such. But I don't care if someone just didn't care for it otherwise.
Forget the Streaming update...This weekend I am going to reveal where my Scooby pin will go and the placemarker...stay tuned!

You do realize that this is a fictional character?
Quoted from bobukcat:The beauty of it was we didn't know and we didn't care because we were children and shouldn't know or care. It's a g-d cartoon for children!
Quoted from Beechwood:How a kids game about a kids cartoon can turn into a political woke discussion. Good lord, help us Jeebus.
not my intention in the least Beachwood when i first posted. only intention was to say how bad it was .
Aurich ,i liked Harley quinn and laugh at that humor but i did not laugh at one thing in Velma's first 10 minutes i digested. / I think i knew i was in for trouble as the first scene had two Roaches Humping and was like UUHhhhhhhhh umkay / anyway maybe it is like BTTF i dont like it but your kids are gunna love it !!!! But i suggest not watching it with kids . anyway Come on Scooobies , start leaving the factory !!!!!!!!!!!!
Quoted from jwilson:Man, go away for a few weeks...

It's literally one and a half pages and a few posts man. Some of you are so melodramatic.

Quoted from Green-Machine:Plywood floor is interesting?
The drop target array area.

Is Joe going to have a Scooby-Doo for us to see in person?
Yep. The woke parade marched through and labeled everyone homophobes and racists this go-around. How dare one cherish their pure childhood memories of Scoob and the gang, and not embrace today’s sexualization of literally everything?
Quoted from Mdanielb:embrace today’s sexualization of literally everything
I think if you googled "sexy velma" your poor little brain might actually stroke out.

I guess if the mask fits....LOL (that's how I do that right?)
Quoted from Mrsiyufy:Completed the Puzzle. Now I guess it’s time to watch season 1 and 2 again while I wait for #445.

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:Can we please just talk about the fucking game?? Is that too difficult?
Yes
Well, I guess it's posted both ways now...
Anyway, I really enjoyed finally seeing some production pics from Spooky. That wall of 3D printers from their FB page was crazy!!! Game is shaping up to be amazing!

For those of us who don't look at Facebook did they talk about what they're using them for?

No sir, just some random pics of the factory. Here's the picture I was referring to. I know nothing about 3D printers, so I have no idea if this is actually impressive or not. Just the sheer number of them shocked me.

These kind of printer farms aren't exactly uncommon, but that doesn't mean it's not impressive, it's the way to be serious about pumping out parts. It's not rare for a print to be an all day sort of affair, so if you need 30 of them you can either spend a month printing on one machine, or a day printing on 30 machines.
I don't know the AnyCubic models well enough to know exactly which ones those are, but those are likely around $200 each. So not crazy expensive to outfit a farm with. But still several thousand dollars worth of hardware.
Quoted from SLCpunk2113:I hated my anycubic. Can’t imagine the trouble 30 of them would be.
Wouldn't be my choice, that's for sure, but when you're buying that many cost is a factor, so I get it.
I just bought my first 3D resin printer today. Going to save a bunch of coin on plastic parts and figures now. It was on sale for $159 today (it was 199 when I first looked at it today. It’s the Creality Halot One

Stuff is poison, be very careful. Get a voc and ppm reader to see what just opening the bottle of resin does let alone printing (the tiny air filter they include is for smell alone, nothing more). I scrub my air with HEPA and activated charcoal then send it out to the environment (outside) - my resin printers sit in a negative pressure grow tent along with a laser cutter.
I also crack open a new p100 filter every time I'm in printing and washing with the IPA. you only get one pair of lungs and those telomeres are only so long.
Some goes for my FDM and SLS 3d printers.
Getting pumped for getting my Scooby Doooooo

People selling for $500 loss (SD) to $2600 loss (JB60) JUST WEEKS after orders open makes zero sense.
Now excuse me, I have to load my wood stove with some hundo's, getting cold in here

Makes me scratch my head too. I know pinball is not an investment and I am prepared to lose money on every one. However, not before I at least get to play it for a while.
With that said, I try not to make sense of it. What makes sense for some clearly doesn’t for others since we see this a lot.
Quoted from insight75:I didn't think they were 3D printing anything for this game.
I believe they said all the major toys and sculpts would be done by Back Alley?? They still may print some minor stuff. Maybe not. Some of the pics they posted were just random shots from their factory.

Seems they were printing the servo lift parts last I heard.
Servo housings and a few other small underplayfield parts.
