254 also happy to trade up if some needs more time but 254 is fine
Quoted from littlecammi:Per Spooky, all CEs will be run first, then BSEs and last the few SEs ordered by people. Since we now know number 1854 is a BSE, either Spooky has sold at least 1854 of the 1969 games and the game is close to being sold out. Or they are planning to run the sold CEs first, then all un-sold games as CEs, then the sold BSEs, and last the sold SEs. If this second scenario is correct, then we don't know how many Scooby-Doo games are still unsold.
I asked Luke and he said they will only build ordered machines Good for all buyers I may add!!!
Quoted from TheLaw:It balances out all the ass kissing.
Or sorry, do you think they shitcanned fawzma cause he was doing a great job?

It’s not your fault man as soon as you come up with a brilliant idea we all want it! Besides there were two pages of this thread talking about amusement parks a few pages ago. Hype threads go wild. I love it. Most of it.
This is my first spooky machine. Does pinballstar give us our numbers, so we know where we are in line?

What he does is not hype. Some of you don’t even know what the word means apparently. Even with the definition posted. Just sayin.
Quoted from The-Hum:Since it will be way too long before I get to play the game...I put myself through a bit of CAD retraining to draw up the space kook ship.
Rendering on bottom
I'm thinking it would make sense to either be on top of the far right (airfield) ball guide or on top of the large plastic in the rear.
I'm not a mod maker by any account... I'm just planning to paint it.
But i imagine someone could make some design modifications to have one that lights up and
is interactive... That would be cool

Quoted from SpookyLuke:Put me on the list for this to lol!
I'd like one too.
Actually..... I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'd be in for all of the Space Kook mods!
Quoted from Heavyk:This is my first spooky machine. Does pinballstar give us our numbers, so we know where we are in line?
Yes. You should get an email from them soon.
I started getting excited hearing Bug mention adding monster modes
Quoted from Yoko2una:Both incorrect I believe. The $200 charge is just if you want to transfer to someone else. If you try to flip a PinballStar deposit, they can boot you and refund your money.
Haha. Deposits are non refundable, except if you report yourself flipping the game, Spooky will buy it back from you. That almost sounds like a refundable deposit. The threat of a forced buyback is not enforceable.
Quoted from monitorpop:Looks like only Pinside Editors can do it. Sorry for the mixup.
‘Tis done. Whether or not folks know to look for it is a different story.

Thanks! Pinside key topic post checked off my bucket list.
My order # is 13590. I also haven’t received my email yet but I ordered a BSE directly from Spooky. Hoping I’m not to far down on the list.
I'm 13630 and I haven't received an email either.

I'm #13749 and I ordered a BSE direct from Spooky and haven't received an email yet as well. I'm not expecting to get my machine until late 2023 or early 2024 just because there are so many people that ordered CE. We're in it for the long haul.
Quoted from Vecna:That was fast. You can jump the line at cost.

Spooky won’t buy back your spot, that was something a distributor posted.
Quoted from chuckwurt:BSE #1851 Checking in.
Seems there will be very few of these and standards out there.
Did you order direct from spooky?
Order #13476, CE #79
Looks like I’ll be getting my Weird Al LE and SD about the same time. Very expensive, but awesome Feb-Mar!
Quoted from Mando:So I just ordered a shirt, order # 13760
So I am thinking 300 or less spooky direct orders?
Seems about right but could be a bit over 300, not including the first 50. Hard to be sure without knowing how many non-Scooby orders have gone through.
13457 is the earliest order number on the sheet and that is pin 60… so I think that would get it to 312 direct starting at pin 51… if there were no other non-Scooby Merch orders.

Yeah definitely assumes no other orders. Seems maybe more went to distros this time too but I would be surprised it much over 1000 have sold in total. All good as I think it looks killer but definitely a sign of the times!
They have well oversold any previous game on the first day says Charlie. So over 1250 day one alone. I’d bet that approx 1350 are sold at the moment.

Since my number is 1851, wouldn’t that mean they sold at least that many?
Quoted from chuckwurt:Since my number is 1851, wouldn’t that mean they sold at least that many?
No because you are not a CE and I suspect they are making guesses on when the CE's will end based on previous percentages. The math does not add up, spooky sells half so lets say 1000 went to distros(and they sold out which they didnt) that means 1300ish total..which would not outsell the UM/HWN combo. Maybe just maybe just HW which was 1250 but thats kinda shady math since its the same game.
I honestly think 1000 or less right now the highest CE number is in the 600s?
Not being a negative nelly, just doing some math. If the game is good it will sell out once they get out there.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Since my number is 1851, wouldn’t that mean they sold at least that many?
You can still buy all models right now. So there is probably space built in for more CEs, more BSEs and more SEs. Since you have a BSE, if anyone orders a BSE they would be behind you in line. If anyone orders a CE now, they would be before you.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Since my number is 1851, wouldn’t that mean they sold at least that many?
Maybe not. Maybe they extrapolated out their hypothetical 1st BSE number based on the ratio of CE vs BSE vs SE sold thus far, assuming that they are going to build the entire 1969 run of games in the same ratios.

Yep. Exactly what these guys said. That is what I would do if I were them.
PinballSTAR just got our numbers yesterday and given we are the largest Spooky distributor there is some time involved to get orders laid out. We will be emailing everyone their numbers either later today or tomorrow. Please be patient and don't email asking until we get the emails out - it will only take our time away from getting the numbering done. : )

Spooky has already publicly stated they sold more than 1250, you just choose not to believe them. No one is winning any prizes on these wild guesses anyway.

Congratulations to the buyer. Well played and a great example of line/queue jumping.

This will be interesting to see where I fall. I paid at 10:01 EST, but Joe's email clearly stated that the payment time didn't determine spot in line. I suspect that the "interested" list order collected in advance is a bigger factor. I'll bet Joe sold a lot of games. I don't care about being super early. I'd rather have a game built when Spooky is really in their groove with this title. But, it would be fun to have a reasonably low number. I am hoping for 100-250 ballpark, but I am just thrilled and thankful to be able to indulge in this hobby and will be happy with what I get!

Spooky counts selling to distributors even if the distributor hasn’t sold it yet.
You’re right that it doesn’t really matter either way but it’s interesting seeing how these things play out and could be valuable from a timing perspective for some still deciding / waiting for gameplay.
Quoted from monitorpop:Spooky counts selling to distributors even if the distributor hasn’t sold it yet.
So does every other manufacturer by the way.
CE #256 direct from Spooky. A totally chance number assignment with some significance to an old computer geek!
I've only purchased two pins in the last 15 years. In 2014 I received an unexpected bonus check from my employer for working 20 years with them and used it to buy Mustang premium NIB. In 2019 I felt selfish buying EHoH LE NIB since my wife never played any of my games (but that looks like a good decision now).
I'm 73 and retired now (I worked until almost 71). My wife of 42 years died in September at age 65. We chose not to have any kids, so now it's just me and our two German shepherd dogs. The last two months have been pretty tough. Only God knows how much more time any of us have, so I preordered Scooby-Doo CE to hopefully lift up my spirits.
