Quoted from Coindork:

I learned who Don Knotts was from watching the cartoon as a kid. I really didn’t know who many of the guests were until watching the cartoon. As a young kid it made all of the guests seem like these larger than life figures.

Don Knotts' Nervous Man routine is classic, and there are many versions of it. This one where he is pretending to be Frank Sinatra on Dean Martin's show is a riff on his Nervous Man. Some really funny stuff in there. Totally classic physical comedian.

Have you people seen the game play? Looks worse than Halloween/Ultraman. Will never ever buy another pinball machine without playing it first!!!! Halloween CE arrived absolutely in Stunning condition, I couldn’t stop staring at it, the butter cabinet made me late to work every morning, couldn’t stop admiring this incredible game. But 2-weeks later I couldn’t wait to get it out of my house!!! What an absolute train wreck of a pinball machine when it comes to actually playing it!! Traded away for a NIB Guardians Pro, lost $4k on the deal, But Guardians is 100,000,000 x Better than Halloween!!! Will never trust a Spooky again, that shipped sailed when Scott Denisi left!!! Scooby Doo looks Stunning also, game play looks boring.

So I guess I'll have to go with the BSE, WITHOUT EVEN SEEING IT, AT ALL.

I've owned Guardians and currently own Halloween, would choose Halloween any day. It's Scott Danesi by the way and will probably be back to make another game with Spooky in the future.

Ultraman is about there already and has been for a while. A lot of sub-$6k transactions of disillusioned owners bailing. GotG Pro NIB for Halloween is a worse deal for the GotG trader.

Two different themes and demand based on that, last two HW's that sold in archives were $8600 and $7200 so you're a bit off.

#1759 1 year ago

You say that shit so confident like you know.
One week you can get 8500-9 for Halloween one week you can’t

Weird man people thinking the reality they know is everyone’s

Also,UM “being there” already is the best deal in pinball not close

I would love to see like the mod making community ,and like the podcast guys ,make a pinball what a fucking hot mess that shit would be

NIB GotG from the recent run is about $7k so thanks for proving the point. It's not that out of bounds of a trade. There are Halloweens sold for LESS than $7k, too.

#1764 1 year ago

I haven't played HWN but man GotG is sooooo not fun.

UM secondary sales are still VERY SLOW movers until they're under $6k. That's not the performance of a "best deal" in pinball.

There's one for $6500 that's been there since JULY.

And look at the archive - a SEA of "not sold" unless the price is around $6k.

Jesus just admit you're wrong and move on. You tried to compare UM sales to HW sales and what HW used to sell for compared to now is different. Have a hard time believing you want to root for Spooky when many of your posts just show another motive.

I posted market sales. Pre this new Halloween code launch that's imminent hope springs eternal. If it doesn't hit it out of the park, prices will fall again.

And I definitely have my eye on Scooby Doo. I want to own a spooky. They just keep giving me reasons not to. Fingers crossed Scooby is the one.

Neither are my cup of tea, but I was commenting on the trade not being as crazy as some suggested.

A problem in pinball is the only prerequisite for being “in the club “ is having some money

Guy with some money and is bored sees pinball and thinks “I’ll do that”

6 months later they have 18 high end pins in their basement and a podcast

I love when people tell me what other people think of Halloween and why I shouldn’t have bought it

It’s like they need someone to tell them they are right and it’s ok just to like something

I don’t believe some of the guys who bought UM even no what that show is

They crack me up,so in this logic of a guy buys IJTPA for 12k,and now it’s worth 10,the game now is worse and they were stupid?
And Indiana jones sucks ?

Buy a game cause you actually want it pinsode is not FB marketplace

or you know....wait until those things are actually shown. *zoinks!*
In case no ones figured it out yet, if you don't like business practices, throwing money at them anyway doesn't give them any incentive to change those practices.

I wont be.

But it wont matter….will sell out fast. Just wait for it…. I do agree with your take tho…

Best thing you can do is be all logged in and have payment info saved when it goes live! If we run out we will try to help shuffle to distributors that have supply although it does sound like distributors have more on their lists than they have games

This is the post I find the most interesting, thank you for posting up this valuable information

Making people feel like shit about liking or wanting to be proud of a pinball machine they bought with their money,is pretty fucking petty
Who do this?
Shitty people do this
Misery loves company

UM is amazing

No, they do not add a fee.

Curious to know what people think could be modded on the CE. Spooky packed this thing aesthetically so there isn’t really much left to mod… but I still like customizing… thinking the bravery meter is prime for some mods… not sure what else but I’d love to find a way to get Space Kook or Creeper somewhere on the playfield…

#1781 1 year ago

I love Spooky as a company and wish them nothing but success. Almost all of their machines are fun to play, even America’s Most Haunted, shallow but cheesy fun. Dominos and Jetsons didn’t get me going though. Still own 2 of their machines and fit well in a collection due to their co-op mode (TNA & ACNC). Alice Cooper cost $7,200 TOTAL NIB WITH their official topper AND shipped to my door. Great game, Great Value, zero regrets.

That being said Spooky prices keep going up at an equal or greater rate than the big hitters but the quality stays just a step above homebuilt. For 8 to 9k you can get a mint Dialed In LE that is in a completely different galaxy in build quality, lighting, mechs, toys, software, sound, code….everything. Spooky wins in the quirky and silly fun category all day.

Just above home built? Huh. Didn’t think that when I play a Rick and Morty. Might be eating your words I’m thinking. Better than an Alien with QC. Maybe restructure your thoughts perhaps?

Get some sleep man. You’re taking everything too personally and all your posts sound like angry poetry lol.

#1784 1 year ago

Can't help to think there are still some upset people here that bought the last Spooky title/s for ONLY one reason and that was to resell.... and that didn't work out too well for them.. ..

and they are still letting that anger out on everyone else and their joy for Scooby. . .

#1785 1 year ago

I agree with this 100%...

Anyone know what on the right side of the lower playfield. Apart from slings. Double row of drop target on left side but what’s on Right side to aim for?

Nothing. Was literally just looking at it thinking the same. The furthest/lowest shot on the right appears to be the right orbit. Strange design decision.

I guarantee I’ll figure out some mods on my CE, in fact I’ll probably be the first to add a Scrappy figure just to spite all the whiners.

#1790 1 year ago

That’s what I was thinking.
A little strange not to have soMething there. I think I can see a roll over switch but I was not sure if anything else is there.

#1798 1 year ago

I think the pin looks amazing. But Having 2 slings on RHS seems a bit meh! Unless there is a reason to shoot for the extra slings to, but looks like shots are straight up and down fan maybe I am missing something.
When they had the space to put something there to shoot for.
Also having the ramps hidden. I love seeing a full smooth ramp shot.
Would of been great if one of the horse shoe or ramp shots were fully visible. Just seems like shooting under upper playfield and ball disappears. Also they were saying in Q&A today that magnets in one of the horseshoes that captures(kidnaps) the ball and drops in to subway. Bit also not visible. Seems like some cool stuff going on but all is hidden. Watching the ball speed around is the fun part. Watching the mechs do their work etc.
Don’t get me wrong I am looking forward to it. It looks amazing and the code Sounds like it will be fun with choosable characters and maps to find clues etc. seems like plenty of flow with long shots and horse shoes.
Maybe a Spooky someone can shed some light on the reasoning for these.
Hopefully a hit for spooky and pinball players alike.
A great job done but also Involved.

You're right, I haven't lol. I think there may only be 1 or 2 in the UK. I owned a R&M though and that does have a reason to shoot a sling.
