I went to Silver Ball Planet today and was surprised: They had Jetsons, Rob Zombie AND Domino's! I didn't expect to see these machines outside of America, honestly. They had plenty of other pins, sadly, no Sega EM machines.

This was the first time I got to try Domino's.

Oh yeah, the guys at The Silver Ball Planet try to get all the newest titles ASAP! They post online about them too to encourage people to come in and try them. It's kinda sad that they can usually only get a dozen or fewer players for their monthly events. They keep everything in super shape, and the venue is so clean and smoke-free and spacious! MOST ELBOW ROOM EVER!
Seriously, if they had opened 3 months BEFORE i quit my job and left Japan instead of 3 months AFTER, i probably would never have left! (or if they had had more media about it in advance so i knew about it...)
I wonder if they are still looking to hire a tech...

I had the opportunity to play Domino's before, as their HQ is in my hometown, but i am really curious to try a Jetson's sometime! I've been considering naming my new bicycle Orbitty after their pet. (the brand is Orbea, so it fits)

Yoshiko is awesome... hope to get over there and see this myself one day!

Family dream vacation has always been to go to Japan and see all the kaiju goodness. Ok, by family I mean me and Bug. Lol.

Someday!

Charlie when you go, be sure to check out a tour of Janjira nuclear plant. Very strange beasts hail from that area.

Not the dog! Orbitty is the fuzzy little alien with springs for legs (see image).

Sakai, yeah, if you're talking Osaka area: 堺市. Wild place that! I was asked to squeeze a M-F's boobjob at a drag bar there, iirc. She wanted confirmation from a cis-woman that they felt real??!

I’ve been there 5 times - I regret to inform that I have not yet seen a Godzilla running around Tokyo.

However, I can report that the inside of their police stations are very nice, and the Japanese use the “good cop bad cop” routine when interrogating drunk foreigners.

Not technically running around, but i just saw this today... https://kotaku.com/tokyo-just-got-a-new-godzilla-statue-1823979775
I had visited the previous cute little one while stuck living in Tokyo last year, and this seems like an improvement.

They do however have a Godzilla pin there though. Fun to play.

I'll be in Osaka next week and I literally just googled Pinball + Osaka and saw this thread! Thanks for the heads up! Looking forward to trying out the Jetsons pin.

Flights to Japan are inexpensive in the last several years. Round trip tickets to either Tokyo or Osaka are in the $400 range. I'm bummed I waited so long to go. This will be my second trip and I'm planning a third one during winter 2019.
