Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

Maybe it's Nikola Tesla's Shocking Pinball Adventure, complete with tesla coil wired into the flipper buttons to punish you for missing shots.

Now you're thinking. I immediately thought of Lightening Reaction:

Which is a fantastic party game if you've never tried it. Having the flipper buttons or lockdown bar give you a little jolt for a bricked shot would certainly be an innovation.

Quoted from o-din:

Another timeless theme based on another classic movie.

Never saw this one, but I always thought the guy on the poster looked a lot like Steve Martin. I don't imagine that was the vibe they were going for though.

Quoted from ChrisS:

I've heard army of darkness elsewhere.

Groovy

We'll let you sleep on it.

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

Paw Patrol Pinball has a nice ring to it.

Wish I didn't get that reference. I take it you've got a three year old as well?

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

You gotta love Paw Patrol or you won't survive it.

I enjoy the Canadian accents and terrible 90s ska music. Otherwise, not so much. I could also do without the "big boys don't cry" messaging -- after watching the show our five year old started saying "something got in my eye" when he tears up. But they love it and it's certainly less objectionable than much of the stuff out there.

Anyway, sounds like they'd sell at least a couple of them (and if the midnight madness mode involved the puppies getting electrocuted per Spooky's hint, so much the better).

Quoted from VacFink:

for weird car movies from the 80's my go to will always be RepoMan.

Yes! Just watched this again on HBO, it totally holds up, strange as hell then and it hasn't grown any more conventional since, there really just isn't another movie out there quite like it. Plus the soundtrack kicks ass.

Quoted from BMoney0309:

Ben heck just tweeted a Meatloaf inspired "Now in Texas! Where I would do anything for pinball...but I won't do that. Oh no. I won't do that."
Sad face.

You must have meant to write "happy face." Either he's actually, improbably, making a Meatloaf pin (which would be kinda awesome) or he's epically trolling (which would be super awesome). Either way, cheers to Ben!

Quoted from romulusx:

Paradise by the dashboard lights, was my theme song back in 1976
I loved my 1970 Chevy van

A good fit, but how could "Chevy Van" not have been your theme song?

Quoted from Trekie:

The one on the right has the butter cabinet. The pictures don’t do it justice.
In person the butter cabinet looks so much better. The colors really pop. It also has different color side rails and lock down bar and legs than the one on the left.

What's a butter cabinet?
