I put my deposit down on ACNC after playing it at MGC. Those that know me know I'm not a "pre-order guy", but I think this game is the real deal. This is still an early rendering. With Bowen on board, the software and rules will be great. I figure that I have close to a year before my game will be built, so plenty of time to develop and tweak.

I was under the impression that with bringing Bowen on-board for rules/software help, there were going to significant changes to how the game will play. Bowen is just getting underway, so let's give him a bit of time to get something put together that will be closer to the final product. No sense in taking the time and effort to create a video of a game that is going to end up bearing no resemblance to what will actually be released.

In regard to weak flippers, I'd chalk it up to low line voltage. The flippers were fine when I played it at MGC, albeit early in the day. Remember, these games are prototypes and have been played non-stop at shows and are bound to have some items wear & tear as a result.

Alice Cooper

I had a chance to play Alice Cooper both at Pinball Life and Pinball Expo. I have one on order and I'm looking forward to having it. The shots are tight, but after a few games, you can start to dial in and get better at hitting them. At Expo, I was actually able to hear what was going on and really liked the sound. The Frankenstein mode is pretty cool. The only issue I noticed was the ball was getting stuck behind the drop target on the lower playfield. I could see the drop target twitch, like it was trying to drop but wasn't able to. I didn't notice this issue at the Pinball Life Alice Cooper, so it may be a game specific tweak that is needed. Overall, fun game.

I think Spooky has committed to making games with great code when they brought Bowen on board. Based on his comments, it sounds like he is not only in charge of game rules, but is doing some coding himself.

The other thing to keep in mind is that TNA and Haunted House Party are Scott Danesi games which are programmed by Scott, so the Spooky games will have more time to have code developed by Bowen and Fawzma.

Can someone post all of the mod options and prices? I didn't find anything on the Spooky website.

Let's not forget that Spooky said it would have all of the Alice Cooper's built within 18 months. Last time I checked my calendar, it looks like they have another 7 months left to build and I'm sure their pace will accelerate.

If you want to talk about unreasonable delays, keep discussion to WOZ, Hobbit, Aliens, Big Lebowski, JPop etc.

Quoted from SpookyKT:

Hey Pinsiders! We now offer our own target decals!! If you would like a set, contact me ([email protected]) or squirrel ([email protected])! We can also add them to your yet-to-be-built game, just let us know if you would like them shipped or added and we will do so!

Would you be able to post all of the various mod items and prices such as shaker motors, speaker lights, decals, etc available for Alice Cooper?
