I have a white display in my AMH and I wouldn't pay for the color.

Quoted from Tokkentakker:So best way to order is to send an email at 9:01? If it's sent at 8:59 it wouldn't be counted?
Every time there is confusion on the process. I swear I am going to quit my job and work for them. I just don't think they sort out the process far enough and then look at it from a buyer's point of view. That being said, I have been able to navigate through the system and get good results on all 3 purchases from them. This one is really tough for me as I am not sure if I want the game or not. I like Alice Cooper but don't really care for mode based adventure games that much. Out of the 30 or so AC songs I really like only 2.5 made the game. I understand why but just makes it tougher for me to jump on this.
Quoted from SilverballNut:My ACNC invoice was 1952 from Spooky (emailed right at 8:00 yesterday).
1951 here. See you on pick up day.
Quoted from frankmac:Crickets.
They can't assign numbers until down payments are in. If one of the early numbers doesn't pay everything shifts.
The colors of the cabs are actually different because of the printers used. The butter cab looks much more purple while the standard shows more blue and green. I choose the standard.
Code has a way to go yet. Can't hear much of anything. Spooky's quality gets better with every game.
I played quite a few games and did hit the lock a number of times. The game has some tough shots but I like that. With all the noise at the show I didn't put the effort into figuring out how to get through the modes but had fun shooting the game. You do "brick" some shots but when you start to feel out where they are, they become quite satisfying. If you want an easy game that makes you feel good every time I would suggest picking up a used LOTR. If you like the castle adventure that this is and want to have to work a little then this will be right up your alley.
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:I worry about everything... but thanks! We do appreciate it.
Ever get worked up over on-line bickering, then get 2 potentially life changing emails back to back in 5 minutes that turns your whole brain inside out in all the right ways?!?!
Hello Karma! Being nice and having patience pays off.
Don't let the Pinside bitches get to you. Everything will be fine. Most of us are excited about a new game. Those that are too stupid to know it's not a finished product don't matter.
Quoted from rotordave:Quite often at shows, the line voltage is low due to all the current draw from all the pins plugged in and running.
I know that’s always been an issue at Expo in Wheeling.
Flipper power has never been an issue on any Spooky pin to date.
rd
It's an issue now because the Pinside worry mill has started spinning.
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:Update:
We will ship some ACNC games in June.
We will ship all 500 ACNC games in 18 months.
We will continue to sell and produce TnA at the same time. (3rd time we've had 2 games on the line together)
Bryan Kelly (who uses his real name every day) does not own Pinball Life. I was there yesterday.
We got all new print gear, a warehouse we built and paid for last fall, and a bigger shop than ours across the road to assist / expand as much as we need that will be done in few weeks. Here's a photo out our front door of said facility for fun...
Nothing has changed folks... except we have new employees helping us grow and our summer help is back.
Speculate all you want. We make games, not drama. Hope it always stays that way.
How are people who know nothing supposed to micro analyze your business and keep telling us bad things if you screw it up by constantly doing what you say and then shipping the games you promise people?
On ACNC the butter cab gives some of the colors a different look. I prefer them on the non-butter so it they were the same price it would be a coin toss for me.
Quoted from bemmett:#39 - Non butter here but no request to take my money yet.
Wonder if they are doing a run of the butter games first? I'm just going to grease my cab up with some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter for $2.99, it will shine!
33 here. Got the email to choose options today.
Quoted from frankmac:Feels like Spooky is sending ACNC to dedicated customers possibly form past Spooky pin purchases.
Safe move.
I wonder if pin #s matter.
#33 here, my 4th NIB Spooky game not feeling your assumption.
Quoted from DJNOEL30:4th owner, holy crap! BTW, the Data East joke went over my head I didn’t get it.
It says so right on the box.
Quoted from iceman44:My $550 for BCRF still stands.
Or, I'll match another $1k if Charlie wants to send my deposit to BCRF.
Not sure why Charlie should send your deposit to charity? If you sell it at a reduced rate Spooky still breaks even or am I missing something?
