It would be great to hear about the game instead of seeing Alice Cooper pics. Any other news, screenie of new LCD display graphics, etc?
Quoted from RebelGuitars:AC was hair raising at TPF.
On a slight digression, that girl with the big hair is very cool.
Antionette I think, I just wanted to say, enthusiasm runs very high in her. I like that.
She works for Marco now, she told me. I like that too.
Good job Marco!
I'm a fan.

So your eyes burn seeing cooper pics?
Just keeping the subject towards the top until there is news. I think you can sensor me if you like. But I may have something good to see someday...

Plus I'm the one that posted some of the released screen shots first. So there!!!!!
Yes, thanks for the released screen shots of the game, but no thanks for the barrage of cooper pics

well, aurich had the opportunity to play the game last weekend and the only comments he made referenced the LCD screen and the cartoons. that should tell you something. personally, I do like what they've done with the comic book concept. reminds me of scooby-do, a mystery themed cartoon which had its own 25+ monsters.
Quoted from Aurich:I got to play ACNC this last weekend and chat with Charlie. I told him the thing I was the most impressed by was the LCD... The comic book thing they've got going on ACNC is really well done.

I have no problem with you not liking this game. There are quite a few games that I don't like.
Here's some advice for you - 1) find some games you like, 2) hang out in those threads and post happy, positive things, 3) discover a character trait called "self control". It's where you are tempted to post something negative, but you refrain. You'll find this character trait to be helpful in other areas of your life as well.

I am pretty sure he has hit broken record status at his point. Probably best to just report him and move on. He seems to feed off the reaction to his constant negativity.
Guessing the mods have a simple tool that tracks number of reports and takes action as needed.
Quoted from Damonator:I have no problem with you not liking this game.
i have no problem with you thinking that i do not like this game.
trouble is, i am not on record as not liking this game.
in fact, i just complimented the cartoon imagery.
too bad certain people didn't realize i was actually trying to help Charlie understand what people were seeing in his video that was causing a number of people to dismiss ACNC as a potential purchase. i never got the chance. as a result, he has now gone 30+ days without said information.

broken record for what?
report him for what?
what was negative about my last post?
you have to guess what tools the mods have at their disposal?
cmon man. fill in some blanks for the community, rather than make vague hyperbole filled statements intended to incite.
Quoted from greenhornet:in fact, i just complimented the cartoon imagery.
...that sounded sarcastic. The "that should tell you something" was the passive aggressive dig that seems to be your MO in this thread.
Aurich used the phrase "most impressed by"...not "the only thing I was impressed by". I agree with Aurich that the LCD animations are far and above anything Stern has done to date and are probably the MOST impressive thing about the game. But like others, I really like the castle theme, cabinet artwork, playfield artwork, layout, etc, etc too. It's a great package that's been well executed.
Quoted from Magicchiz:You know what we need.....another picture of Alice!
Certainly better than the current alternative

I have a deposit on one - I can't speak for other buyers, but I don't want you designing my game. Not saying you are not an ace with a long track record of successful designs, just that I sent the $ based on faith in Mr. Emery & crew + liking what is there. If it were otherwise, I simply would have passed and sought a game that suited my taste, letting people be content with their purchase. Your persuasive input might have been better received if you had consulted with those who have skin in the game before starting to lobby.
I am sorry if someone already provided this info, but has Spooky/Charlie indicated when more of the game will be shown, whether in person or a video? I am interested in the game, but can't bring myself to make a deposit on it with the limited information available.

my guess is once Bowen gets the code revamped and things dialed in then he will shoot a video?
that is my hope also. He does such great tutorial videos and is a good player so seeing him walk us through things would be really nice.
Spooky is going to Southern Fried in 2 weeks. I'm driving 4 hours one way just to finally get my hands on ACNC. Can't wait!
Ok here is a little bit of greatness!
Looky at the cool snake/ creature skeleton we dont get to see because of the castle.
This was taken during my visit to Spooky HQ.
There is limited info because the Spooky gang has been traveling. Plus I'm sure they are waiting for Bowen to finish his work on the game. He was given a game to work with. Fawzma is great and with him and Van es. I'm sure they are working on finishing up as much modes as they can. While there I was shown the whole vampire mode. The comic book style and animations are great. Let also not forget the art by Zornow. Very good choice by Charlie and co.
Without much info. Hard to keep this topic at the top. That's why all the Alice pics. So now we can talk about the playfield.
Here's to hoping Spooky get production up and running smoothly!

I read this on release and would recommend it
And the playfield looks awesome. Gives a much better idea of how the shots are spaced out on the "Danesi lock" area as well.
I appreciated the topper for Rob Zombie- any idea if we’re going to have an official topper released for Alice? Hopefully something similar that looks good next to RZ?
im no. 123, yay! when is the first acnc due to customer 1 do we know? roughly? sorry haven't read all 60 pages!

It would be cool to see who is number 1!
Is it Alice or a pinsider?

That playfield pic looks great but I do hate it when there is barewood beneath the plastics. Why not just have it be continuous art? It makes the whole package look so much more complete. Grand Lizard and some other 80's pins have complete art under the plastics and looks great. I know thats an old comparison and I'm sure its cheaper to do it this way. I just think it breaks the 4th wall and reveals whats behind the curtain.
Having bare wood or white areas is probabaly better at reflecting light than up bunch of dark artwork to an extent. Why spend the extra money on the ink to print areas that are covered with plastics

Probably Alice, a close friend of Charlie, or the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.

Alice is getting number one - as it should be.

Pretty sure #1 is going to the winner of this tournament that went on right around the time the game was first announced;
