SpookyCharlie any chance we can get a video with Bowen playing this weekend? It would be great to see a lot of the features in action, and I’m sure he won’t have too many problems hitting the shots.

Sorry, no photos but plAyed a bunch of games. On three ball, more code, and game really shoots great.
Too loud in game hall for me to hear well, but what I can hear sounds good. Got a few modes going and a few multiballs.
Just pure good fun with this game. Definately on the trajectory of TNA/ that was set by TNA.
I get the impression thatit is getting close to sell out? CHarlie seems very hush on it and actually wants to not hype so more people will get the opportunity yo play before game is totally sold out.
If you are remotely interested, I would say to get here and play and decide.
I an very happy to have my order in since D1 and that was recemented from playing it more today.

80% of the media in the thread has nothing to do with the game, and are just empty / spam photos of AC. Please stop.

Great...That means I get one step ahead of you. I don't see you contributing to keeping the subject to the top and not dead in the water.

If Alice's pictures bother you.....you don't deserve the game!

Can someone please help me understand this? Why does it matter to Charlie or anyone else for that matter that others get to see it and have an opportunity to experience it to possibly buy it?
It is a limited run. Those that are pinheads are well aware of it and have either jumped in or have decided to pass.
They can keep bringing it around and showing it off for both enjoyment and to prove to the world how they are evolving and what they are capable of. This alone sets the bar that they have to work from and challenges them with their next title. Compare RZ with ACNC, looks to support my thought on that.
Now, show it off, keep developing code and let's get this beautiful pin under production!
I sure wouldn't be posting random pictures. If there was information and a constructive conversation about the game. But I hate to see the post about this game go down the list and disappear into the pinside void. I am a Alice Fan and this game is a dream game. So until that happens. here is a picture for the haters.

While I can see why someone lukewarm on Alice's character, show, and music could see it that way, it's hard to say that photos of Alice aren't related to that character's game. Perhaps better than "bump" text to keep the anticipation alive (and certainly better than arguing about dimples, etc.). Though I suppose I could be in the minority of pin collectors that are equally sold on the source material as they are on the game. Admittedly the Coop/Elvira/Zombie pic was fairly epic and relatable to pinball

Thank you. That may be the best comparison shot yet of the armor and butter cab. Butter cab makes the standard cab look dull (still can't justify the cost difference for me, but a nice option for someone that has more disposable funds). Though I'm more confidant in the silver vein choice on this one from this photo.

Thank you for sharing! Not sure about the picture quality to demonstrate the PC Blue. How does it look in person and does it match the art overall? The coindoor looks out of place and the speaker grills look off to me but maybe it is the picture. I think that we need to add something to that speaker panel

Yes and the coindoor doesn't stand out the same as on the blue. Hmm... We've selected the big titties edition, all current options but I will certainly need to see more pictures of the blue. If we opt for the blue, can we get the colour code to take it a bit further ourselves at some point in the future?
I believe the light is just not hitting the speaker grills and legs on the blue. Plus it doesn't help with the black coin door. Matt at back alley can easily change that. With a blue coin door, it is going to look sick. Also you just can not deny the bright colors on the butter can. As far as the speaker panel. I think as soon as the high res screen is going. It fills it up nicely.

I'm not there.
I just got this off the MGC thread. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/mgc-2018-photo-thread
LOL!

I hear you. I was hoping to go to AA but it is sold out. Had to delay due to work and find out now that the weekend is now open. Drats!

Yes! Thanks! Also supporting Spooky on this
...many Mondays ago lol. I HATE spoilers, so i will NOT watch streams until after i have quite a few games on ours but it sure will be nice to whats what on production numbers.
Where can I review game play video from Spooky? I was hoping to review the shot map, rules, and get a sense of the ball action...
I also look forward to hearing the pin in a quiet environment.

The colors of the cabs are actually different because of the printers used. The butter cab looks much more purple while the standard shows more blue and green. I choose the standard.
Hows the software progressing? Did anyone get deeper into the game? Maybe hear more songs, collect more items? It looks like a fun game.
FWIW: I'm not in the market for either and I've only put in a couple games on each in an environment that you could barely hear anything, but I like the look and play of this Nightmare Castle more than Iron Maiden. The call outs and screaming was fun with the ball streaking seemingly out of nowhere. Upper playfield was nifty too. (not as cool as a rocking pirate ship with a cannon, but I could purchase a real cannon with the price difference) Neither was a bad game. However, I wanted to play Alice again, but was content to move on after I drained on the Stern game.
Played it at MGC. I liked the storymode, but I didn't like the layout. Castle is cool, but there's so much of the playfield covered up it's like you're just shooting into holes not sure where the ball is going to come back out (maybe it gets more predictable the more you play it?). Also doesn't seem to be enough things close to the flippers to shoot at where the ball is coming back at you. I don't hate it, but it didn't grab me. There's something to be said about TNA with that close pop bumper and angled targets right in the center, really keeps you on your toes.

Yes, I can see a need to own both!
Code has a way to go yet. Can't hear much of anything. Spooky's quality gets better with every game.

Sounds like they nailed the feel of traveling through a mysterious castle. I feel like a lot is lost on Stern games where you always know the location of the ball. Lots of older games with subways that gave the sense that a pinball machine could do magic as the ball disappeared and showed up somewhere you didn t expect

BK 2000 was very similar with not being able to see where the ball is going on the lower pf. It turned out to be a great game when you learned the game.

So was Popeye...
Quoted from marksf123:I went with the silver trim. Any thoughts from anyone who has seen the blue and silver?
For what that powder coat costs, we can install a knocker and shaker assembly ourselves which is super easy.
Quoted from marksf123:I went with the silver trim. Any thoughts from anyone who has seen the blue and silver?
I went with the silver vein finish trim. It is the same trim as on my standard version on RZ, which I think looks really good. From the photos, the blue looks good too, but to me the silver fits better with the castle theme (also similar to the wireforms) and at no additional cost.
Quoted from wcbu64:(also similar to the wireforms)
That what i thought but wasn't exactly sure from the pics - good to know as I liked that too.

This is my perspective as well without seeing the blue, but knowing the silver from RZ. The vein style powder-coats in general look much higher end IMO than at least any solid color powdercoat (due to the texture and multi-tone factors).
As for matching the coin door with the blue, if I were to consider going that far, I believe my preferred route would be an entirely custom color option. Perhaps RZ LE armor (copper vein?) would look nice on ACNC as well.
Why in the world won’t they allow people to take photos and video. It’s ridiculous that there is little to no videos of gameplay out there.

. . . and the silver vein texture hides finger prints (my biggest regret on the ink black powder coat I had done on my Scared Stiff).

Yep. I'm tired of people complaining/whining lately about any new pin where they can't see the ball 100% of the time due to an upper playfield or something, like it's a bad design and a "deal breaker" for them. I never hear them bitching about White Water, or all the other pins like that. It is not bad design. It's awesome.

Wait, what? I was assuming photos, videos and reviews from MGC would start trickling in more on Monday when folks are no longer hungover/busy having fun.

Thanks for all the great pics! Such a cool looking game. I can’t wait to get mine!
