I'm curious as well, Mine is 1982
1959 here - I wonder if the game number is in the order the email was received or the order the deposit is paid?
And he did say previous customers would be ahead of new ones...

Who knows if it means anything. My guess is they still have to figure it out.
I'd hope they rank by games purchased as anyone who bought all 5 previous games deserves to be first in line. Then 4,3,2,1 etc..
Paid my deposit a few hours ago. I have owned many games over the years and currently have eight machines in my collection but this will be my first "new in box" purchase!!! I went with the blue powder coating, standard cabinet, graveyard side art and the plastic protectors.

My guess is that Spooky friends and employees will get the first 20, then previous customers of any # of games, then new customers (and whatever voodoo Charlie/KT think up). It’s their company and I’m not going to question it - just happy to have a spot in line.
I called at 8 and my email after I couldn't get in was at 8:01 and I'm invoice 2037, which sounds a good bit down the list from y'all. Maybe this isn't the order.

1959 is the lowest number so far. Maybe they started at 1900 or 1950?
No matter to me, just glad to get in for this title.
I'm sure the invoice numbers are not relevant since there are probably other business transactions mixed in with the orders that were taken today. Sounds like the people that put their deposits in today will get the game fairly quickly when they start pumping these out.
1987 is my invoice number. Purchased two prior Spooky games.
Not sure what all extras I'll get. Might get them all including the butter cabinet!
Love the look of this game! Hopefully Nitro will have one to play at the NW Pinball show!

Maybe they started with Alice Cooper's birth year, 1948.
My invoice from pinball star says 0001. I paid at 9:02 EST. Emailed at 9:00. Although maybe that's the item number. Don't think we got game or invoice numbers from Joe yet
Quoted from nikpinball:My invoice from pinball star says 0001. I paid at 9:02 EST. Emailed at 9:00
Oh, Pinball star. No idea how those outside sellers will fit in the folks ordering from Spooky direct.

Did John order?

Mine is #0001 as well. Must be an item number that Joe set up or was auto assigned by PP. I ordered at 9:04
Quoted from PBINTHESOUTH:#2020 I fiddled around and put order in at 8:01
based on the numbers, it appears at least 120 sold in the first minute of on sale
Quoted from Jodester:Oh, Pinball star. No idea how those outside sellers will fit in the folks ordering from Spooky direct.

Yep...he told me he was 2061 I think
I wouldn't concern yourselves too much with invoice numbers. I highly doubt they took into account priorities for existing customers while invoicing people. I'm guessing it'll take them a day or two to suss out the details.

yeah, I am guessing invoice numbers mean nothing for build/game number.
It is cool to see how many sold though A little glimpse into the chaos that Monday must have been in Benton!
After today’s reveal I am glad I rolled the dice and got in early yesterday! Really looking forward to this game!
Any vids of any new ACNC gameplay with good audio? I saw the one Charlie posted on FB yesterday, but was hoping for more! Now that Spooky has Bowen, I'm sure he could do a tutorial video in no time.
Quoted from SilverballNut:My ACNC invoice was 1952 from Spooky (emailed right at 8:00 yesterday).
1951 here. See you on pick up day.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:How many have been sold?
a lot! if you are considering getting one i would not hesitate too long.
Quoted from RustyLizard:1951 here. See you on pick up day.
Well mine will be shipped, although I'd love to visit there sometime.
Playing this game at TPF, really reminded me of the old Haunted House game in a great way. I loved how there were passages where the ball seemed to disappear and reappear somewhere else.
Maybe Charlie will let us know how many were sold after they catch their breath.
My bet is 250 sold yesterday....
When I asked Kayte, she told me it might be a few days or longer before I had a number but thought I was probably in the "first 100". Not sure if you can read into that if there are 2 or 3 "100's" so I'm guessing we simply need to be patient a few days and let them sort through everything.
Quoted from KingPinGames:a lot! if you are considering getting one i would not hesitate too long.
sounds like close to selling out? That would be incredible if they did so quickly.
Quoted from VolunteerPin:the "first 100". Not sure if you can read into that if there are 2 or 3 "100's"
that means you are between 1 and 100, it's just 1 "100". if you'd be into the second "100" then that'd be "the first 200", and you can do the math for the rest.
this of course is not to read that they sold only 100, as well that they reached 100 neither. it's just that your place is between 1 and 100.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:New Stern looks like their best since Metalica. Looks like everyone is stepping up their gane.
Yep, and despite feedback the community is "burnt out" on jukebox pins, my gut says the whining was more about Stern cookie cutter layout and less-than-inspiring rules on KISS/AS, the most recent R&R pins (though I own/enjoy both). I'm more of an Alice fan, but the Iron Maiden Powerslave-inspired artwork and unique layout unveiled today look killer. The timing of Stern's release would indicate they know the market is getting more competitive...
snaroff
The games I decide to get in early on tend to go down before I get mine (I could have saved money buying used) and the games I pass on tend to hold value / go up by the time I want one. I passed on Alice, so that probably means they're almost sold out and demand / price will stay steady or go up.
My more logical side tells me this game won't be everyone's thing, and given how many other games are likely to come out in the next 18 months, Alice will be readily available on the secondary market for under NIB price next year. However, I do have a pretty good streak of misfortune going.
Congrats to everyone that got in on the pre-order. I bought AMH and RZLE, but am sitting this one out for the time being. I probably would have rolled the dice were it not for the video that Charlie posted. Was really disappointed in the lack of emotion of the AC callouts. Sounded like reading from a script between sips of coffee while reading over the paper. Once deadflip posts a video, maybe I'll be back on board. My gut feeling, no danger of these selling out. Count up all the pre-orders in this thread and it's less than 50. I doubt 10x non-pinsiders are on board with a $1K deposit. TNA has still not sold 500 units in a years time. Of course, would love to be wrong as I have nothing but admiration for Charlie and Co...hope they sell out this week. Will just pick one up on the secondary market
How are persons customizing their Alice machines with initial $1000 deposit? When I called Spooky yesterday about the down payment they said that is done when final payment is to be made.

If you bought from Joe at Pinball Star, he will contact you shortly for the add-ons. He just emailed me that very request. Not sure how Spooky is handling direct sales.
BTW my adds were:
Blue powder coat
Inside art
Quoted from adborto:Has anyone seen a “butter” cabinet in person? Thoughts?
I have. It's to die for.

Better than the direct print WOZ?

On the very early WOZ clear coated ? Same thing I believe. Charlie made them for JJP.

Looks like it. I've got one of those gorgeous early Woz cabs. I'd get the butter if it was going to sit by itself. And maybe it deserves to, it sure is a beauty.
Quoted from adborto:Has anyone seen a “butter” cabinet in person? Thoughts?
the one at TPF with the powdercoat and the mirrors was a "butter" cabinet.
I saw the butter in person and I have a Emerald City Direct Print Woz, its the same process, but the big difference is the artwork and the colors in it jump off of the cabinet more than my woz. In my opinion, one of the best art packages on a cabinet I have seen...
Damn you guys talking about that butter cab. Would love it but its my TPF travel fund for next year. Congrats though. Preordered yesterday also. Went for decals, silver, shaker/knocker. No butter for me.
I am glad to see so many others going decal blades. I think they really compliment the art, but that video Charlie shot with mirrors looked fantastic. Both options seem great.
