OK - so what did the email blast say? What are the options/cost?
Quoted from ultimategameroom:Here is the pdf order sheet.
I wasnt far off on my 8250 guess with all options....
Quoted from bigd1979:I wasnt far off on my 8250 guess with all options....
Not for me. I plan to butter it myself, how hard can it be? Planning to use the really good stuff from Land ‘o Lakes.
Quoted from ultimategameroom:is the buttered cabinet worth the $1000 upgrade cost. Most of my machines are lined up side by side. Won't even be able to see it....
Quoted from bigd1979:I wasnt far off on my 8250 guess with all options....
just $500 off... And that is if you want everything on the option list (not sure why you would ever order all the options?)
You were claiming 8250 for butter, mirrors, and speaker kit... That would only be 7619
Tell me why someone should spend an extra grand on cleared decals when they are most likely going to have a game on each side and not be able to see the artwork. ? Not sure about Operators , as they k ow they will get abused in the bar . Not knocking by any means . I am happy to see new games coming out.
Quoted from kermit24:How much is the knocker and shaker? That price is just install.
knocker is $34.95
shaker is $99.95

Its pretty and if u think its a keeper for life maybe... but in most cases its not imo...

Is it cleared over decals or screen printed cab with clearcoat?
The new pin market is nuts!
Love to support a Spooky premium game at some point in the future, but like any manufacturer, no way I’ll deposit sight unseen - gotta play one first.
In most cases given their limited runs and scale, that just won’t happen out west.
Quoted from bigd1979:Is it cleared over decals or screen printed cab with clearcoat?
Screen printed cab with clearcoat. I was kidding above. I think it’s worth the extra $1000, but it probably translates to a $300-500 hit if you sell. I’m all about total cost of ownership. Now I’m second- guessing myself - I may upgrade to the butter cab. $400 is like 1 vet bill for us.

This is true lol...

Not cleared decals , artwork is printed directly to the cabinet then cleared . It is really only for people that want something extra special .The colors really do look great on the butter versions of spooky games and having a cabinet that looks like glass is cool , nice option for those willing to spend more for an upgrade . In the email this option is called "Most ridiculous thing with a crazy price tag you absolutely don't need" and for the record spooky's decals are very nice , but when you see ACNC in butter version it sure does look very nice .

Here's what a FT butter cabinet looks like. You really have to see a butter cabinet to appreciate how the colors look. I got a TNA butter cabinet and I have to say, the colors on ACNC look even better.
Quoted from Tokkentakker:I can't find a pic of the "regular" armor so I can compare to the blue.
It's the same as Rob Zombie, silver vein powder . It looks really nice and works well with the artwork on the ACNC cabinet as well .Heres a pic of the lockdown on my RZ , I'm sure you wanted to see a complete pic of this style powder on the ACNC game but I hope this pic helps a little .
Quoted from Tokkentakker:I can't find a pic of the "regular" armor so I can compare to the blue.
Here’s a pic of the silver vein powdercoat on ACNC.
Quoted from trilogybeer:Previous Spooky customers get the email
Hmm, I did not receive an email and am in on TNA. I’ll email them and make sure they have me on the list.
Quoted from Russell:I got the butter on my TNA, and it is amazing. I also had it on my WOZ EC and Tron. Direct cabinet printing is amazing for home collections. Location operators should definitely go for decals. I usually hate colored powder coating. I’m not sure if I’ll go with blue or gray.
Tron? It wasnt clearcoated from the factory. Alot of cabs were screenprinted in the past but the butter cab is a whole other level of beauty.
Quoted from bigd1979:Tron? It wasnt clearcoated from the factory. Alot of cabs were screenprinted in the past but the butter cab is a whole other level of beauty.
Yes, I agree.
Thanks for pics guys. I can't decide which trim color I like more. Thinking about butter too. This is going to be my first nib pin. Ready to order Monday morning.
I am still a little confused on how the pre-orders work. I have never owed a Spooky game. So if I order on Monday @ 9:00 am what place in line do I get? If someone who owns a previous spooky game decides to buy the game in July 2018 do they move ahead of me in line for the game? Or do I get some benefit for buying the game early?

Per the email >>
'ORDERS OPEN FOR ALL EXISTING AND NEW CUSTOMERS AT 8:00 A.M. CENTRAL TIME ON MARCH 26TH (2018 of course). Existing Spooky customers will get bumped up on the build list because we appreciate and take care of those who have gotten us where we are. Distributors will report sales as soon as they come in, so you aren't losing any "time in line" by buying from us or them. Games will be built in the order they are received. Email is your fastest way to get on the list quickly.'

Plus Stern used halftone to print graphics which I think looks like crap up close. Chuck himself has told the story that George Gomez grabbed him at MGC and asked him why his godzilla homebrew pinball looked better than theirs.

Thanks - for some reason I still have a confusion level, I must be getting old......
Maybe I should explain where I am confused:
Quoted from Whysnow:ORDERS OPEN FOR ALL EXISTING AND NEW CUSTOMERS AT 8:00 A.M. CENTRAL TIME ON MARCH 26TH (2018 of course).
Got it - I am on the east coast and I order at 9:00 am on 3/26/18. I am good on that is tomorrow
Quoted from Whysnow:Existing Spooky customers will get bumped up on the build list because we appreciate and take care of those who have gotten us where we are.
Got it - If 100 existing customers order on 3/26 and I was the 2nd non-exsisting customer to order then I would be game 102.
Quoted from Whysnow:Distributors will report sales as soon as they come in, so you aren't losing any "time in line" by buying from us or them.
Got it - doesn't matter if I order from a distributor.
Quoted from Whysnow:Games will be built in the order they are received.
Confused - I was number 102 from above and now they are ready to produce game 102 but 50 new spooky customers have decided to buy the game since I was number 102. Am I now 152 or still 102? After tomorrow do I get assigned a game number for do I just stay in limbo until they figure out how many previous owners buy the game.
Quoted from Whysnow:Email is your fastest way to get on the list quickly.'
got it - don't call

Dang, looks like a cleared playfield

Once you are given your number that is your number . If you are given the number 102 you won't be bumped to 152.

I wonder how long they will take initial sales before giving out numbers. It's going to take some time to sort everything out with the distributors.
Quoted from ultimategameroom:I got the email too. As much as I love Spooky and I do own AMH and RZ, it would have been nice if they posted a video of more gameplay before opening up nonrefundable deposits.
I came here today to specifically say this. They also promised there would be before Monday so. I posted the same on their fb as well
Quoted from Tokkentakker:So best way to order is to send an email at 9:01? If it's sent at 8:59 it wouldn't be counted?
Every time there is confusion on the process. I swear I am going to quit my job and work for them. I just don't think they sort out the process far enough and then look at it from a buyer's point of view. That being said, I have been able to navigate through the system and get good results on all 3 purchases from them. This one is really tough for me as I am not sure if I want the game or not. I like Alice Cooper but don't really care for mode based adventure games that much. Out of the 30 or so AC songs I really like only 2.5 made the game. I understand why but just makes it tougher for me to jump on this.
Very floaty and slow ... game needs back legs jacked way up and it will be much better . Looks pretty cool and like all the rgb lighting .
hell yeah THAT orbit has flow

Photos do absolute no justice to this process, but we gave it a shot... it's absolutely stunning in person, but completely not needed.
If you decide you want the Butter edition cabinet, we strongly suggest you pick up your game in person. We can ship, but it adds $50 per game for special packing, and you must inspect the game before the truck leaves. After that, you're on your own. It's absolutely beautiful and must be seen to be appreciated, but it you bounce it off a door frame, you will cry. Probably for at least an hour. Call us, and we'll probably cry with you. May take a few weeks extra due to these being an on demand product.
OPERATORS.... If you need coin boxes, bill acceptor doors, etc, please let Kayte know at the time of your order. The vast majority of our games go to home sales, so these items are sold on a per-need basis to help keep costs under control.
