Spooky Pinball 3rd Game - Alice Cooper&#039;s Nightmare Castle

EDIT: On a side note, I listened to the H2H interview and Charlie seemed to confirm that prior Spooky customers will be getting first shot at Alice (unlike some, I think the 500 will easily sell out).

If you blow it up. It kind of looks like a silver ball shooter on the end. Nit sure its a button.

There was a TWIP podcast a few days ago and Charlie said he hired another programmer to work with David.
I assume both of them are working on programming Alice (Ben started it).

But the code itself is being implemented by David Fawcett.

My guess, once it's revealed they will be sending out the emails to existing spooky customers, and KT will be adding people to the list. I'd also guess that if it's shown, that means the license is worked out, and they will probably start building them a couple weeks after the show (maybe sooner if Chuck got a 2nd production line prepped before the show). But he also has to keep his workers busy building TNA's.

Lots more creativity in the RZ ruleset, imho.

House of 1000 corpses MB is one of the most fun and interesting modes ever. 7 balls, 1000 swithes.

Demonoid phenomenon is clever and tough. Hit every switch on the playfield.

I sold mine recently, and I think I’m starting to have seller’s remorse. Very underrated game.

I know what the hell are they doing, making pinball machines or something? "hit the flashing lights" that has no business in a pin. Hitting the switches however is groundbreaking in the rule department.

Agreed man! A couple weeks ago I completed 8 of 10 modes and damn was that an adrenaline rush! The game plays differently which isn’t for everyone but if you can refrain from comparing it to all over games and appreciate it for the ass kicker it is it’s a ton of fun.

I play my fish tales more often but do enjoy getting my ass handed to me by RZ in between other games. RZ is easily the preferred game by guests when they come over.

ACNC will be at Texas but only at our booth. Not on the general floor.

At texas, there's no differentiation between booths an general floor, really. It's all the same room. With the same hours.

Not true really. The games in peoples booths do not have to be on free play. They can charge or only allow who the want to play the game. They do not even have to turn the game on.

Ah. Did not know there was a differentiation. Spooky hasn't ever treated it like there is one for the games in their booth in previous years.

We caught Alice last night. Having never seen him before I walked away REALLY impressed. Great band, cool rocking show, tons of props, and his fans are dedicated ! There’s a reason he sells out at 71 ! We’re super excited to sell Spooky’s ACNC now !

One of my favorite interview questions with Alice talking about the difference between himself and his character.

Interviewer: If you were going to interview Alice Cooper, what would be your primary question?

Alice Cooper: I think the dichotomy of Alice is really interesting. The fact that I go to church on Sunday, I play golf, I have been married for 41 years and I have never cheated on my wife. I’m a great dad and a great granddad. Opposed to this character who is a full out villain. It’s really interesting that I can click in and out of that character. I think I would ask Alice if he is ever tempted to be the other character, to be the normal everyday guy. The thing that is interesting to me is that 22 hours of the day, I am the normal guy. At night I get to play this villain. It’s really fun to play that character. The same is true with my wife. My wife teaches bible study. She is a ballerina and she teaches ballet and jazz. At night she plays this incredibly demented nurse, a “day of the dead nurse.” She also plays this rag doll that comes out of a windup box. She always says that it is great to play somebody you are nothing like. I would ask Alice if he ever wanted to switch places with me. And I think he would say absolutely not. I play this mythological rock star that doesn’t really exist. But he does exist for those two hours on stage. The audience has become endeared to this villain, kind of like Captain Hook. Peter Pan is kind of ho-hum compared to Captain Hook.
