I got it! One of my favorite movies growing up, The wraith with the gutterboys! A movie about racing that makes the fast and furious look good when they shift an automatic transmission

The wraith with the gutterboys!

A horrible movie that I still remember fondly, even with a recent re-watch. However for weird car movies from the 80's my go to will always be RepoMan.

And if you talking Charlie Sheen car based movies, my vote goes to Point of No Return. We need more movies like those.

#553 2 years ago

We guess the game is "Here Come the Mummies"....The awesome spectacular Jazz Funk Fusion Band..

Yes! Just watched this again on HBO, it totally holds up, strange as hell then and it hasn't grown any more conventional since, there really just isn't another movie out there quite like it. Plus the soundtrack kicks ass.

Pretty excited to finally see them unveil Buckaroo Bonzai.

Bible adventures man.

Undoubtedly. I can't wait to play Moses' 10-ball 10 Commandments' multiball.

#558 2 years ago

everytime i send kayte an email i ask if theyre making bible adventures yet, i think everyone else should do the same, well just grind them down till they give in

#559 2 years ago

There is no way it's Iron Maiden from Spooky, since Stern has Iron Maiden for sure.

#560 2 years ago

Whatever it is I hope they make more than 500!!

#561 2 years ago

Revenge of the Nerds pinball would be ridiculous

In a good way

I hope all the meatloaf talk is just people trying to be funny. Total disapointment and disbelief on my part if true.

#569 2 years ago

nothing there.. Ah, but google has cache Ben!

I don't think this is a joke, this is a badly scrubbed website. You can see the same AMH/Dominoes drop target / magnet section
Also a quick Whois shows heckendorn@gmail.com is the admin

Meatloaf would be quite a let down in my opinion.

what are you guys talking about???

You may not like Michael Aday, but he is still to this day one of the biggest selling rockstars of all time. Everyone knows his stuff and he is creepy/spooky/odd. Fits perfect with the Spooky games IMO.

Put Ben behind the design and Code and MLPony would sell well. Give him a licensed cool theme to have fun with like Meatloaf and it could rock!

Can't wait!!!11

Quoted from Mudflaps:

Alice Cooper could be cool. I can see Spooky doing that one.

He is the king of "shock" rock.

#579 2 years ago

There was this back in Nov. I actually really like MeatLoaf. I've been a fan for years, but I don't want a MeatLoaf pinball machine.

"out of Gum" - oh man, that triggers my Duke Nukem memories

They Live?

#583 2 years ago

I'm actually waiting until this is announced before deciding on my next game. Let's hope it's something awesome.

#584 2 years ago
Quoted from benheck:

Not sure what Chuck is showing at TPF regarding the new game. Backglass is very cool from what I've seen!
Nobody here has guessed the theme yet... so keep trying!

Infamous!

infamous2_12 (resized).jpg

#585 2 years ago

Following, hope the theme is more like AMH and less like RZ. Just my opinion.

#586 2 years ago

I've heard it's the munsters. But I've also heard a lot of other things. Kudos to spooky for managing to keep it locked down!

Guess we will find out soon.

#587 2 years ago

36 hours and counting to spooky reveal!

#588 2 years ago

Definitely don't see that one happening, but that would be cool. I played the shit out of those games. Good stuff.

#589 2 years ago

Just listened to the spooky pinball podcast #84, the most recent podcast, and Charlie said "it's not the plan to announce the 3rd game in Texas, the surprise is the new version of The Jetsons." Check it out for yourself, at the 32 minute mark.

#590 2 years ago
Quoted from sofgwhat:

"it's not the plan to announce the 3rd game in Texas...

I heard that on some other podcasts as well...

#591 2 years ago

What, no reveal??
Bummer, really wanted to know if i was parking a Scooby next to my Jetsons...

#592 2 years ago

Wasn't the third game The Jetsons? AMH>RZ>Jetsons?

#593 2 years ago

Meatloaf would be badass! I'd get one for sure.

#594 2 years ago

Nope, Jetsons is a contract game like Dominos

Quoted from dfsays:

Wasn't the third game The Jetsons? AMH>RZ>Jetsons?

#595 2 years ago

Then I vote for The Three Stooges.

#596 2 years ago

Gotta be the Blues Brothers!

#597 2 years ago

That Scooby Doo blanket they put over a game was hilarious. Nice work. I agree with the comments above, they've done a helluva job keeping it secret.
I am going to guess it's an original theme, not a license. I hope it's something Edgar Allen Poe-ish, scary & gothic. Heck, the Raven & the Tell-Tale Heart would be enough to give a theme life of its own!

<3 u, really excited to see what bible adventures looks like tonight
