Quoted from PinballSTAR:

In our email we will have paypal buttons you click to whisk you to paypal where you will pay with one click. You do not need a paypal account, but if you don't have one you'll just have to enter your info vs just having it all prefilled by paypal once you log in. It's easy quick and there is no risk of our website crashing or other potential problems outside of our control.

PinballSTAR process was crazy fast and easy. No dealing with sites that can’t handle everyone hitting it.

Quoted from Bobster123:

Does spooky have a list of distributors I want to order a CE from a reputable dealer Who is established and been in business for a while since there will be a wait, Any recommendations

PinballSTAR had some CEs left as of yesterday per this post w/ the link to buy via PayPal:

Quoted from PinballSTAR:

OK... PinballSTAR is now all done sorting out - took us all day... we just need to notify everyone - hundreds of emails to send so BE PATIENT. Please do not email me individually or it'll just slow things down - wait for your email please...
BUT - After some people moved from Halloween to Ultraman we have FOUR HALLOWEEN CEs left... I debated how to do this - I hate doing Sophie's Choice and I have 100 emails of people who wanted one after they sold out... So I'm just going to reward you crazy Pinside bastards in this thread by doing this... Here's the link below - first four to grab them get them.. They are my last and highest numbers of 954, 955, 956, 957...
If you already have a game ordered through us or with anyone else - DO NOT take these please... We will cross reference and refund you... Let someone have them who didn't get one. No you can't cancel an existing order with us or someone else if this is a better number, or if you ordered an SE or BS or Ultraman you now don't want those... Sell your other spot I'm not going to cause problems for other distributors or Spooky by doing this. Only one per person... When the 4 are gone I just dumped into my paypal inventory it'll say sold out and you'll be pissed, but think of all the fun you had trying !

The current Halloween animations line up with the other work in his portfolio:

Love it or hate it… seems like his style/capability is more motion of static assets than full blown animation like Rick and Morty or Jurassic Park. I wouldn’t count on the style of the animation changing unless Spooky enlists somebody else to help.

Quoted from Cheeks:

The problem with most of the other animations (aside from being really repetitive) is that they're SO hokey. Decapitated Michael head bobbing around in the back seat with a dismembered floating hand? Come on. Same deal with the hand through the window, etc.
Not trying to shit on anyone's work, but you could literally import a few PNGs and create this level of animation in PowerPoint. If they can't come up with a better way to animate these, I'd rather see static illustrations than the bobbing and weaving clipart approach.

Quoted from nicoy3k:

Hope you are right…

Quoted from bgwilly31: That half baked Animators stream is Condemning. And if hes the guy in charge of the animations Spooky Should fire that guy off the project.

Glad I resisted the urge to watch This stream. Sounds like the things he said we out of line with the rest of Spooky and their company values / service mindset. I’ve been beyond impressed with the direct service I’ve received from Spooky and really appreciate their ongoing engagement in this forum… to the point that I’m really only interested in buying their pins now.

I empathize that it would be hard to take hearing that many don’t like his animation work on this game so far. (Especially when it’s obvious that he cares so much about this being great.) However, he really should remember that he is now representing more than himself here. It would be a shame to have such a great company’s reputation tarnished over a bruised ego.

I’m still stoked to get mine. Everything continues to look really great to me… except for maybe some of the early rough/repetitive animations that don’t always share the same art style.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

Man is the excitement down for Halloween or what? I am still excited for it.

I’m going with butter. I didn’t care about it before but the only Rick and Morty to go up in the marketplace around me happened to be butter so I got it and it looks great. I think Halloween will look even better. Once you go butter you don’t go back.

Quoted from icyjones:

I decided to go with that sweet butter. I only have two Pins and the artwork will be on full display. Hopefully won't regret it aka I will need to put the fear of God into my 4 and 6 year old about not scratching it.

Quoted from underlord:

You guys getting the Butter/No Butter options?
