Quoted from Ty-Arnold:

Does anyone know for sure what is going on with the inlanes?

Seems to be normal inlanes for balls in play, and then a lifting mech on each side to spit out staged/Subway(?) balls

Quoted from Hazoff:

Also R and M was a one of kind in terms of Spooky call outs.

Gotta agree there

#128 2 years ago
Quoted from theadicts77:

I'm sorry but you guys are dead wrong here. Say what you want about RZ as a whole product, but it has the best callouts in pinball. It's not even up for discussion, Sid Haig outdid himself there.

I'll do a little more research, thanks.

#203 2 years ago

What a complete shit show

#208 2 years ago

"The store is closed"

#222 2 years ago
Quoted from Ty-Arnold:

They gave me a order number and said it went through.....

The order message ID of 252? Withthe big red X? Doesn't fill us will a lot of hope

No purchase history here either

#235 2 years ago
Quoted from Ty-Arnold:

It said 252 on mine too. Doesn't look like it worked. I called and they just said sorry keep trying. Lol. This is horrible. I'm thinking fuck it and forget about this.

Well I finally got in, but after this long I'll be too far down the list and the wait will be too long. So I guess we'll start seeing some Slots for sale in the market soon

Quoted from Jediturtle:

They have top notch distributors...why aren't people using them when the website is obviously struggling?

Because you get locked into it man. It's right there just one click away!

#254 2 years ago
Quoted from kciaccio:

$60 paypal fee and eliminating the middle man.

Technically isn't it only $15 more since you don;t have to join the pointless fang club?
EDIT: Oh sorry i think you have to be in the fang club anyway

#257 2 years ago
Quoted from JeffF:

Because some of us don't care for some of them. I'd much rather go through Spooky.

That's what we all thought @ 9:59am

#261 2 years ago
Quoted from nexfx:

So how long do you think it’ll take for spooky to sell out? My guess is 2hrs

Well in 2 hours they'll probably make 35 sales thru that shitbag website

#275 2 years ago
Quoted from EightBitLife:

My question is they are basically the same pin right as the playfields are almost identically placed?

Identical

#281 2 years ago
Quoted from Jakers:

The fees do suck, but an extra $60 to pass up the stress everyone else is going through right now?...take my money, PayPal.
Order confirmed 1 minute after going on sale through PinballSTAR. Thanks, Joe!

Seriously. If everything is actually by order placed time, $60 to jump that far in line totally worth it. Wish I had known it would have been a no brainer

#287 2 years ago
Quoted from Lopa:

You just spent $20,000 and you don’t know what you bought?

Meh. Pretty standard around here.

Plus shipping

#292 2 years ago
Quoted from 27dnast:

Mind boggling, quite frankly.

Weirdly it doesn't even more my needle anymore. Yikes!

#324 2 years ago
Quoted from seenev:

... would imagine some people on the fence but knowing it could be over a year keeps them from ordering.

Ha, they seemed to do ok. Wonder how many distros have left?

I would also just work on an ordering system that allows you to order

#329 2 years ago
Quoted from seenev:

nowing when you'll get it is important information.

Totally agree, but they didn't see this coming so im guessing they won't see the next one coming.

#335 2 years ago
Quoted from icyjones:

Do we have any confirmation that Butter can be added to the Spooky Pinball website orders...

Yes. They arnt going to throw away 1k

#402 2 years ago

Hope the topper is easy to take off

#412 2 years ago
Quoted from Aeolus7:

.... I realize this is far from a family-friendly title....

Yeah I don;t know how much you can change it; it's scary. Dont think my daughter will be loving it....yet she likes TWD so maybe, .

#422 2 years ago
Quoted from Blindseer:

If its like the RnM topper it will be hard wired. Clip the wires and add a molex if you try to take apart the topper piece by piece its a bit of a pain to put back together because of the crappy screws.

Good to know, thanks .

#424 2 years ago
Quoted from Betelgeuse:

the game doesn't even say 'Halloween' anywhere but the topper on the CE.

I thinknyoull be able to figure it out

But yes, most people go CE...there's another thread somewhere ...

Here it is
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/spooky-which-one-did-you-buy

#428 2 years ago
Quoted from DeathHimself:

Just think of those SE buyer's, poor bastards. Halloween 19 " The night his great grandson come home" will be out by the time those are built.

Wait till the orders & #s come out and they'll be a lot new in the market

#444 2 years ago

Super interested in what the numbers will be, and what they'll actually mean (don't know how spooky does it).
If they go 50/50/50, what does it mean to be the 60th person in line for a CE? What happens when the #3 standard moves up to a CE?
How many can they actually make and ship before 10.31?
Interesting indeed.
So I guess they have to make 100 a month so the initial shipment of 50s will take longer than that.
Hmmm

#457 2 years ago
Quoted from MK6PIN:

. My CE order apparently " stuck" at 9:36CST, but have no idea where that put me in line.

Yes the sad part is we were all clicking at 9:01 dammit!
Oh well, nothing we can do now but wait.

#462 2 years ago
Quoted from Mattyk:

The rules seem to make this sound like a pretty linear game. What do you guys think?

I thought that at first, but maybe just thinknot asylum &hedge as pre reqs for the wizard mode?
Think pumpkins modes are not linear.

#468 2 years ago
Quoted from Mattyk:

Halloween Game Rules:
Halloween Guide To Survival/Massacre
Use flippers to change location of skill shot. Then launch and shoot fast!
Lock a ball behind each hedge to start hedge multiball. Reveal Michael behind each hedge by shooting the left ramp. Then hurry to shoot Michael Jackpots! Shoot the Michael Super Jackpot to complete mode.
Shoot the right ramp to get to the Smith Grove Sanitarium Playfield. Then shoot the scoop to start Sanitarium Mode. Complete all red lit shots for Michael to escape! Then gather patients for super Jackpot.
When Hedge Multiball and Smith Grove Sanitarium have been visited, you can qualify House mode by shooting the center ramp twice. Now get to that uppermost playfield! Complete orbits to battle Michael and shoot the balcony to win! (Hold the flipper on the upper playfield orbit for a wicked combo
Start pumpkin modes by shooting either left or right orbit and clear the center drop target bank. Now shoot the pumpkin to start mode! Follow lit shots and directions to help Michael get victims/help Laurie Strode escape! By finishing each mode to full completion, Jack-O-Lantern Multiball will be lit.
After visiting Hedge Mode, Sanitarium, House Mode, and all Six Jack-O-Lantern Modes, Boogeyman (sub) Wizard mode will begin. Lock all 7 balls in the order given to you to complete Boogeyman Wizard mode, the enjoy your victory lap multiball!!
If you've completed all modes to their fullest extent, Night He Came Home Wizard mode will be lit.

Yup sounds linear.

Quoted from SLAMT1LT:

The longer you wait for your game, the better the code will be.

Unless its x-men type bad code id rather have it right away

#565 2 years ago
Quoted from hammerhorror:

Only thing that's bothering me is I never received a confirmation email for my Halloween purchase or my Fang Club order.

Junk Mail? I had to fish a couple out of there.

#593 2 years ago

I was amazed how goddamn boring Friday 13rh Part IV was last time I watched it....and thst was my goto movie as a kid
F13 - 2,1,3,4
Hal - 1,3,2, newest one

#639 2 years ago
Quoted from the_one:

Why are the numbers so important?

Not worth it to some people to wait 15 months to get the game. Some people may actually need time to make room

#641 2 years ago
Quoted from John-Floyd:

I just think it’s fair and the right way to do business in general.

I think the idea is fair but the execution was very poor

#663 2 years ago
Quoted from Zablon:

I don't know the exact numbers obviously, but they've always said block of 50 back and forth. One would assume around half.

Thought it was 50/50/50 with location?

1 week later
#797 2 years ago
Quoted from Nightmare:

Even at 378 though, I would have a little time........

I'd like to know just how "little" it is

2 weeks later
#1357 2 years ago
Quoted from NightMutilator:

Trust me you all are gonna get an awesome game, with authentic vibes, music and the like. Just settle your minds and let a little patience come in. Speculating and demanding doesn’t do anything but cause unneeded stress on people trying as hard as possible to make one of the best horror films sprout into a pinball machine you will love.

Yeah but you'd say that aboot any horror theme!

#1476 2 years ago

Umm....interesting & early for sure.
Not a great presentation with the look of LEDs, not being able to hear the call outs, and missing most of the footage; but you never know until ya play it.
Right ramp seem to be rejecting a lot?

#1575 2 years ago
Quoted from Betelgeuse:

There's an awful lot of Halloween spots up for sale in the marketplace today.

Not as many as I thought there would be. There were already 4 (?) I believe 2 days ago after the stream if I remember correctly.

Quoted from Shapeshifter:

Nick Castle and Halloween.

There he is, the legend, the one and only, the Director of Mr. Wrong folks!

#1662 2 years ago

I think the animations look awesome. You gotta have something on the screen other than movie clips and they are nice and stylized.
I wish I had the ability to have "fear induced" on my from animations.

#1698 2 years ago
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:

Waste of money. People mistake my clean glass for invisiglass.

Quoted from Hayfarmer:

Not really if you have side by side. No comparison.

It's VERY dependent on the your set up I think. In my basement there is very little diff'rence you can tell, side by side.
Perhaps in a more lit area with more sunlight/windows happening it would stick out more.
That's what I've always assumed listening to people say "sometimes I reach out becasue i think there's no glass."
I mean I want to believe, but these same folks probably need pinstadiums to see the ball so whom knows

#1709 2 years ago
Quoted from MK6PIN:

Thought it was addressedt..

Quoted from P1nhead:

Funny you should say that...

Hmmm...you shouldn't be seeing them as a Member+ Perhaps there is a settings item?
Edit: yes look in settings-->Forum settings-->

Quoted from thundergod76:

For those worried that the same soundtrack music may get too repetitive...

Just remember 95% of pinball machines are like this

#1838 2 years ago

With a pre-ordee there's always going to be a bunch of people backing out

#1862 2 years ago

Oops wrong thread

#1889 2 years ago
Quoted from Lostcause:

... does it really need to be there? Nobody has mentioned it yet. Must be just me.

It's from the movie yes.

#1891 2 years ago
Quoted from Lostcause:

Ahhh yes just found a picture, understand now.
[quoted image]

You could complain aboot them flipping the image on the other speaker panel though

#2072 2 years ago
Quoted from Aflacjack:

Thanks. My game room ceiling is 7’3 so should be interesting.

Hope you got some joists open
Thats around 3" taller than whitewater

#2100 2 years ago

"Licensor agreeing" shit never gets me excited.
Uff.

#2117 2 years ago
Quoted from radfordian3505:

Next week makes it 2 months from launch with no games shipped

What happens when the placeholders for film clips aren't approved? Then you gotta ship games out with way underdone code and just hoping it will work out.
