In the process of designing two mods.
One for Halloween the other for Ultraman.

Halloween House mod and pumpkin leaves. IF YOU WANT ONE PM ME

Right window has animated display
Left window has two layer translit with dimming lighting effects.

UPDATE:
Due to shortages worldwide Halloween house is to have only one LCD display for the right window and two layer translite with dimming led on the left.
Instructions supplied as link on tracking email.

The Halloween is supplied painted with wear effects on paintwork etc

You can see other peoples painted versions later in the thread.

Thanks to kciaccio , Morgoth00 for the help and patience

Looks cool; is this for the balcony ramp from the uppermost playfield in Halloween?

Yep sits in that area

Cool - I’ll be following this one.

Man, that is really cool. If you can get that one window to be cracked with that piece hanging there like in the movie that would be even cooler. Definitely following this thread, and put me down if you make a pre-order list.

Thought that too…I appreciate your fine attention to detail!

Loved your Crate mod for TWD

Us Halloween fans are like-minded!

How are you enjoying #78? I read your review in the Owners thread, and am so glad that you are liking it. Are you playing that more than the GnR? What a week for you!

Playing both - gotta say GNR is next level stuff tho - completely blown away by it. Halloween is great too - just a different vibe. Looking forward to the new update this week from Spooky - supposedly adds a ton of new stuff which it desperately needs.

Im looking at adding displays in each or one window depending on costs etc.
So you'll have more than just cracks etc.
Will try to give as much atmosphere as possible.

Drain pipe included

Quoted from Palmer:

What’s your idea for that area on Ultraman?

Ah yes thats completely different.
Have a mixture of ideas for that one.

Have ordered bits for that so will take longer than this one.
Will post a mock soon.

Really cool. Can't wait to see what you come up with for Ultraman.

#31 1 year ago

I'm dabbling in a novel way of triggering the animations
Dont think anyone's done it this way . May be a reason for that
But if It works would be a fun addition.

#32 1 year ago

If anyone can do it, I’m sure you can. Can’t wait to see it

Not sure I like the moon as your looking in the house at Micheal but then technically look outside to the moon on the left.

Is there anyway to animate each window separately? So Micheal and simply move from window to window? More Micheal is always good!

Was a test and quite like the reflection of the moon so probably stay as one animation.
Yep theres going to be a few animations with Michael.
Plus a few random effects possibly.

Every time I play my Alien with your tracker mod reminds me what an excellent product you make. It really makes the games. SO well made.

Going to be a few weeks yet.

Ultraman to be next once Halloween finished.

Thats going to be completely different and will be revealed when Im nearly done.

#46 1 year ago

Can't wait. I will be ordering a Halloween one for sure.

#48 1 year ago
Quoted from Gotfrogs:

Doing something like this might require fewer boards?
https://sudomod.com/spooky-arduino-halloween-eyes/

The main board doubles up and caters for Halloween and Ultraman.
Halloween I'm experimenting on the switching side.

Ultraman will be completely different and no displays.

#49 1 year ago

Looking good, could it play film scenes in attract mode like those little tv mods?
I will be down for one anyway
