The call outs on this would be Epic.

You'd really like this retheme. Very fun when it was on location in Boston.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

The other theme is family friendly.

Quoted from Zablon:

Time to REALLY think outside the box.

I knew it!

Quoted from fnord:

Since we're just throwing shit out there that hasn't been guessed before there's a ton of room for a game based on Reno 911

We tried to watch the Reno 911 movie last night, but alas, it only starts streaming on Hulu on 7/1. Great theme idea!

It was easier to score concert tickets in the 80s than this. Remember when there were physical lines where you got physical tickets, and phones that made calls to real people? Thanks internet for making everything "easier"!!!

Quoted from Zablon:

I agree Matt Berry would be great for callouts. I would actually put IT Crowd over What We Do in Shadows as a better pinball theme. No idea if either would actually sell, but it'd be entertaining.

Quoted from MasterBlaster:

they think the movie is just meh…but they didn’t see it for the first time until they were an adult.

This is me. Heard all my life how great it was. Watched it during the pandemic. Couldn’t understand the hype.

I also think a lot of old comedies don’t hold up. I’m 40 and have been spoiled by The Simpsons, Judd Apatow, Seth MacFarlane, Conan, Ricky Gervais, all the insult comedy, Tim Robinson… etc. Going from them to Princess Bride was like going from a monster truck to a bicycle - just not as fun of a ride. I also watched Blazing Saddles last year and didn’t even chuckle until 45min into the movie.

If that’s what you grew up with, great. It was probably the best stuff out there. There’s just a lot more content now, and a lot of it is more outrageous instead of silly.

Also side note - Dan Ackroyd has never been funny, and Ghostbusters has no business being labeled a comedy.

Quoted from mtn-:

Dan Akroyd never been funny? Perhaps you should watch the Blues Brothers.

Blues Brothers, Ghostbusters, Coneheads. It goes on and on. Please tell me the parts where he should be making me laugh.
