Whatever they wanna make, - hell i'm in, cause it'll be 100% more exciting than another commercial Star Wars or Marvel !
I like the story of Spooky and to support serious work & products with love inside.

Congrats to SPOOKY to a real great machine again so far !!

There is only one thing that bothers me.
And that is that you have to look directly into the LED strips, plus the reflection on the PF.
Anyone who has ever installed LED strips in a pinball machine knows that it is problematic.

I would like it better, if the strips were masked or frosted.

Quoted from spooky_dj:

There is a tinted plastic above them to shield the player.
Aurich also suggests putting some diffuse heatshrink over them if they're too bright.
And if the majority of people take issue with it, maybe fawzma can drop the brightness a tad? The brightness hasn't bothered any of us at spooky, with that tinted shield in place.

Thanks for these info!
Great communication like always.

Quoted from cooked71:

I think you can tell enough from the short promo video, the pics and the ruleset. Most of you have been in pinball long enough to judge whether you’ll like it or not from what’s already been shown.

I would like to hear a bit more of the general sound, as this is very important to me personally. Also what goes on the display.

Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:

I feel more comfortable buying my first Spooky game. The treatment I am getting from Stern these days is like they don’t care.

You are wrong, it´s not like they don’t care - they don’t care at all!
It is a pinball industry factory for making money, not to spread love and satisfaction for the customers.

Quoted from smokinhos:

Dude.. stop the hate on Stern. Its comments like this that derail the pinball hobby. This thread is celebrating Spooky, let's stick with that.

There is no hate just experience.
But you are right: SPOOKY horray !!!!

Quoted from KnockerPTSD:

I didn't see the British, German or French pinball fans complaining. Good thing you can get a Fathom or Celts cheap

I guess most of them like myself too, have ordered from a local distributor.

Loved that sooo much in my youth.
It was placed in a fast-food restaurant in my village, and it swallowed a lot of my rare coins in these days.
But it's a priceless memory at all.

We've all heard about TNA 2.0, but what about AMH 2.0? [quoted image]

WoW !!! What an improvement

Yes you are right, when you look at both pins, the UM immediately picks you up more. Sound & light attract you just in a minute.
But i think Halloween scores on a whole other level, and that's what makes it so unique in the pinball market.

If you want to put it negatively, you could say 'boring', but I see it more as very, very reduced. That combined with the Carpenter vibe is exactly what makes it work. I'm sure if the pin is completely ready it will be gorgerous.

Do we not have enough action pins most of the time made by Stern, where the player is penetrated by stressful always the same sounding soulless guitar music and callouts?
If you are not a guy which can only enjoy life with Thrash Metal 24/7.
When i'm in the mood for it, i'll play my Metallica.

So i like to have different pins for different moods in my collection.

BTW: i was not a great fan of the theme when it was released, but finally i ordered one, because of the playfield design and of cause the trust in Spooky generally.
