Quoted from Zablon:Just because you are longing for a Teletubbies pin doesn't mean the rest suck.
Teletubbies is why we have this coming to Nickelodeon...maybe a new future pin theme??
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:^^ love it. Would play it. Hopefully there’s a feature when you hold both flippers they freeze in the up position, trapping the ball. This would allow me enough time to take an urgent shit, wash my hands and continue the game in a safe manner.
And every time a ball drains down the middle you hear a big burrito FART
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Yeah, and Spooky, the manufacturer, was the one selling them! When distros agree to take so many, the company considers them sold.
But I don't see a list of Distributors on the Spooky website.
I also emailed Spooky for the Texas distributors, but yet to hear back.
Could not get a lead on a Texas distributor for Spooky googling
Quoted from cait001:Halloween except all of the characters except Jamie Lee Curtis are performed by Muppets
Can it be a Jamie scene with boobs, like a shower scene
Quoted from Zablon:absolutely no interest in a RZ version of Halloween.
With an upper playfield that's not going to happen
Quoted from rai:Twin Peaks would be great but I’m hoping it’s ‘Lost’.
Twin Peaks it is...
twin peaks (resized).jpgmpdpvdpin
Man, you’re horny today!
Quoted from Txcoastal1:
Twin Peaks it is...[quoted image]
Don't be such a prude
Over the decades there has been many adult themed ricke' pinball machines. Many of which kept the quarters flowing
Playboy
Sexy Girl
Bad Girls etc
In many cases and all likelihood, besides the gambling perspective, we'd possibly not have pins today
As kids we all lived through The Exorcist, Halloween etc...
These youngsters will survive, or won't they...BaHaHaHaHa!!!
Quoted from Mitoska:Come on spooky..make it gung ho, or Xanadu
Cool posters but that looks like some interrogation room
Quoted from Betelgeuse:There's been some talk in the Led Zep and JJP threads about how only idiots and a-holes want toys on the playfield.
My kids and grandkids like picking out add-ons and toys to install. Keeps them invested and interested. Keeps pinpall alive to the next generation
Quoted from Xelz:So is there going to be a Michael Meyers doll in the back corner of the playfield? And does it move?
Don't go to sleep
Quoted from Sparky:We could talk about Laser Disc collecting for a few pages.
Now you gone and done
Quoted from mrclean:Quoted from Rarehero:
T&J is mainstream & iconic. 2nd theme is obscure. It’s gotta be known though despite its obscurity.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:
Quite a lot, listen...I don’t do pissing matches in threads anymore. If you’d like to carry on with this bologna you can pm me ok? No one else cares to read this shit.Maybe it's a theme about Bologna / "MEAT" Loaf... Meat in general... Is it actually Food Truck ?!
I mean some MEATS are more obscure than others... I get that... Like sliced "Head Cheese" WTF is that jelly looking puke at the Deli ?
Maybe it is Sausage Party b/c y'all be trippin'
Quoted from king_pin:Still nothing from Spooky. Going crazy here.
Better get some meds, likely a long Holiday weekend down here
Quoted from Skyemont:When are the pics supposed to be released??
Back light glass pics posted on page 118
Quoted from Zambonilli:Please take Monday off and celebrate Spooky. Us savages can wait, you deserve it.
J/K
brown noser (resized).pngQuoted from cooked71:Be funny if the “niche” theme sold more than the “mainstream” theme.
For me it’s going to come down to which is the better coded game. But we’ll have to decide before knowing that.
Are they really going to devote 2x as many coding hours?
They mentioned this was a 2 year project in the making.
Quoted from LOTR_breath:If I had to assign numbers to it. I would say maybe 40-50% of the pinball market had no idea what R&M was. Ultraman, more like 98%.
Until the pin came out the wife and I had know idea who R&M were...color me stupid
Both of us know who Ultraman is, and were slightly torn on the decision today...
Quoted from Vans:So most people going for Halloween ?
...that being said, Halloween it is!!
Quoted from bghenson23:Who are your distributors?

Quoted from Reality_Studio:Dumb question alert as I have never bought a Spooky pin, but is it possible to buy one from a local distributer (to get support and such) or is the only way to buy via their website?

Well my wife wants the Halloween more than I.
I guess I'm lucky b/c if it sux, I get to blame her
Good luck to those that are jumping in on the release
Quoted from delt31:After looking at this game without my Halloween fanboy glasses, it really is a great package IF those upper play fields deliver and don’t slow the game down. Uppers to me either work well or they are terrible. We’ll see
I agree, but get into a multi-ball situation those upper PF's will come alive and I hope the music background supports it.
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:You... know I'm one of those guys too right? Lol. We do as many horror cons as pinball shows, both are a blast!
They are saying the same thing about pinball fanatics buying them all... "the REAL Halloween fans won't be able to get a game!".
Personally, I dig the people who are both. We should call this something scary... Scary Pinball? Eerie Pinball? ... oh! SPOOKY Pinball!
Yeah, that works.
Bring it on!!
Icons (resized).jpgQuoted from Beechwood:They don't have a grave. They have to make it first.
Maybe Michael can show them the way!!
I'm sure that Spooky, like AP and Stern are and will be struggling to produce machines due to part availability especially CPU's. Justifiably the 18 month date was given due to these known issues.
My main supplier for my CCTV cameras are in Dallas. The manufacture these in Dallas. I have several styles that are on a 15-20 week back order due to chips. Cisco switches, 3-month back order. I've been waiting on a new I9 laptop since March.
Cars are so forked that you can barely buy one....etc
Quoted from razorsedge:Alot of places have pretty crap internet mate, that includes alot of places in Australia... and at 2am in the morning.
Some genuine buyers are at much more of a disadvantage than a cashed up flipper with a high speed computer system and lightning fast internet connection.
Some places here still so slow it can cause problems other people never even heard of.
Would help out this unfair bias. There is the other thing, second release open sales at 3pm local so that internationals can log in at a more human sort of time of day.
Lucky I wasn't interested in this game, I would have been pissed at the extremely restricted ordering method for Australia, disadvantaged with competing around high speed other worlds. Spooky taken a backward step in looking after international customers in this way.
Could they have gone through the NZ distro??
Quoted from nicoy3k:2.3 M in additional revenue/profit
As long as it keeps a good company in business, especially a nitch market like pinball. Are you having a hardon trying to belittle CE buyers?
Quoted from nicoy3k:Oh yea c) I’m paying 2 grand less for the exact same game
Who you should really feel bad for are the CE buyers who will wait 12+ Months once they realize that over 1000 CEs were sold across both games...
Quoted from nicoy3k:Do you struggle with reading comprehension, how did I belittle CE buyers?
Quoted from metallik:Spooky could do Sabbath so much better than Stern or JJP...
Main theme song
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction
In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord, yeah!
Consider everything has skyrocketed in cost over the last 10 months, including a premium sheet of plywood has doubled
I'll be excited for each new owner when they start releasing, maybe a little jealous too. I hope a few have these by and/or around Halloween.
All-in-all like Joe mentioned, I'll be happy just to have one.
By calculation 100 per month build when they ramp up?
Quoted from djreddog:A little birdie just informed me that Halloween will be at the Allentown Pinfest show on 7/30 and 7/31! This is great news!
Hopefully this is a go. I don't see Spooky on the vendor list YET!?!, but we will know soon
Just received my game #417, 4th or 5th batch
The moment you have been waiting for is now here. no more losing sleep over which number you have in the line
Halloween 417 you are in the fourth batch of machines that i get (after the early location ones)
*numbers indicate a rough idea on when your game will be built, but are not a guarantee as show games, overseas orders, special requests, etc can move games around in the queue.
Quoted from finnflash:I assume you have a CE ? Cant wait to see how high those CE #'s go.
Yes sir, purchased CE from Chris @ KingPin who was awesome to work with
We are all in the waiting game, and Spooky has done everyone right so far. I'd rather wait the extra few weeks to see good code and game play. If Spooky is going to debut in Allentown next week, that needs to be well prepared too.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:Is that 22 HWN CE’s a week?
Hell I don't know...I was just crunching some #'s to get the family to STFU
A comedy tour pin could be fun, throw in some old school Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Dangerfield, Robin Williams
Add a G-Rated select with bleeps, or Full on offensive in the programming
A nursery rhyme pin for some of the thumb suckers....ughhhh
...But "along came a spider and sat down beside her and said "what's in the bowl b!+c#"!!.../CLASSIC
Mine CE was ordered through KingPin and the butter was added/included on my invoice, not sure how Spooky is handling it.
My machine will be displayed Clown side out, looking forward to seeing that art pop w/butter.
Quoted from SpookyLuke:Also happy to say we are organizing a stream from the one and only Jack danger.
30 fresh games set up on the line this week and we are excited to really dig into them Monday.
Catch Corwin, Aj, and I in the booth of Joe Newhart of Pinball Star with Ultraman at Pinfest next weekend!
Charlie will be taking Halloween down to Flashback weekend Chicago Horror con as well!
Most all game numbers should be rolling out!
Hope these updates are helpful! Tons of cool stuff happening. Enjoy the ride guys!
