Quoted from Morgoth00:

Have there been any pins where the shooter lane runs under the playfield and pops up later, to clear up some space? Wouldn't have to be concerned with mylaring it then

Quoted from Rarehero:

It’s actually smart if the 2nd theme is something that appeals to a totally different demographic. Not everyone likes Halloween or wants a horror pin. Making something that appeals to another set of buyers is smart. The horror peeps get their game, other buyers can pick something else. They can have the same code/rules with animation/sound swapped. Not too hard on programming. Not hard on the factory since they’re built & wired the same. Pretty much what Stern did with FG/Shrek…but simultaneous launch.

I fully agree: it saves a lot of costs to design a new playfield, new mechanisms, rules. Of course a lot of things have to be done 'double' like you say (art, sounds, animations), and indeed also saves in manufacturing when compared to producing 2 different games. If you have a good or great playfield and 2 completely different appealing themes (that both sell to different groups), I can really see it being worth it. I like the idea!

Quoted from kciaccio:

I was really hyped about getting the CE for Halloween but seeing Ultraman reskin has weirded me out about going all the way for the Halloween pin. It feels like it lessened Halloween uniqueness of the Halloween pin....Anybody feel this way?

No

I hadn't heard of Ultraman and have never seen Halloween, but hey, I like the looks of that playfields! Great job Spooky!

Can't wait to see some gameplay.

If you are new to Ultraman check this episode out.

How is it even possible there hasn't been made an Ultraman pinball before?

Quoted from TreyBo69:

I really like the layout on Street Fighter 2, but it's such a bad game... (decent earner though)

I agree on the first (great layout with lots of possibilities), kind of agree on the second (it's so lineair, too linear for at home), and I can understand the decent earner-thing (it's clear what to shoot for and I think it's really fun and addicting to play some games, just not for many, many, many games, so I think in the long run it's only fun for home use in a larger collection of games.

I think it would be a great playfield to make new rules for though.

Back on topic: where're those video's?
