Quoted from Shapeshifter:

If I say Beetlejuice 3x will it make it more likely?
Goonies - really not getting how this would make a good pinball.
Easiest pass ever.

I love the Goonies, but when it comes to Beetlejuice, i think the potential of possible toys on the playfield could be sooo good! Hope it is Beetlejuice. Beetlej... Whoops. Nearly done it.

#1231 2 years ago

i sense the love for Deeproot is not great here... what have they done?

#1233 2 years ago
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

They are nowhere near releasing a pin and took peoples money. And offer store credit in case they can’t make it.

oh. i understand. thank you

#1247 2 years ago
Quoted from benheck:

There's a Spooky Deeproot connection, the story of which will remain buried inside a vault until Robert's Jpop Welfare Assistance company is dead and gone.
.... So.... Next month.

Ha ok looking forward to that story

There was even a real life movie with Dolph Lundgreen as He Man. And Sceletor was awesone

#1602 2 years ago

Here a He Man Cabinet

And there is a visual pinball table

I have it on my virtual pinball, just alone because of the music, it is awesome. It brings you back into your childhood.

Quoted from joetechbob:

Frank Langela was amazing as Skeletor!
Grew up loving He-man but boy does the cartoon not hold up. Still dig the Masters of the Universe movie though. Super fun.

Think gonna watch that movie now

I would love a Beetlejuice Pin. It could be cool to work towards a Beetlejuice Mode. First you need to try to scare them away yourself when you finally earn Beetlejuice, the fun really starts with the cool theme music and multiball etc. And then you need to work to get rid of Beetlejuice and he tries to sapotage your game.. Something like that could be awesome...

#1746 2 years ago
Quoted from benheck:

Hey, if you want a Beetlejuice pin so badly, find a designer and company who gives a damn about the license.
Stern clearly didn't. Who's left?

Maybe a homebrew is the answer then.

#1747 2 years ago

also throw in Sleepy Hollow while we're at it...

#1812 2 years ago

watching army of darkness right now.
my god the beginning is epic. that indeed would make a good pin. cool music.

#1912 2 years ago

Hmm would want a nightmare on elm street, it already exists...

#2127 2 years ago

LOL another teaser...

#2213 2 years ago

Oh yes Gremlins could be an awesome pinball, lots of screams and shout outs, kind of like TFTC.

Pinball Circus 2 = confirmed

how awesome would that be

#3509 2 years ago

exactly,

so back on Beetlejuice?!

#3535 2 years ago
Quoted from djsolzs:

Did Ben Heck say no to this one?

i don't know, but i remember him hating the idea of it.

#3536 2 years ago
Quoted from Beechwood:

It is. But we need hope...

oh well placebo effect is gone now.

so the new pin is Halloween but with a second theme? Or does that mean two Halloween from different era, isn't that the same theme then.

when it is some sort of crossover that would be cool.

#5486 2 years ago

oh wait, so it will be 2 Pinballs with the same layout but different playfield graphics??? or is that just a guess?

#7258 2 years ago

I'm looking forward to see how the upper playfield integrate into gameplay. Is it a shot you will go often for or just a few times. And is it difficult to get to the top, or will you make the shot most of the time.. Hope gameplay videos are coming soon

Quoted from benheck:

Was thinking about "thin wood" couple days ago while helping Scott with Cuphead. His Baltic Birch from Woodcraft was 0.475" which is 12mm. Half inch would be 12.7mm
This is common for a lot of building materials - they list it in SAE/Imperial but it's actually Metric. Menards is honest, they'll sell you a 12" x 24" x 6mm piece of plywood. Says so right on the sticker. Hobby Lobby will lie and say 12" x 24" x 1/4".... but guess what? It's 6mm thick. (0.2362" IIRC)

is there a standard playfield thickness? a lot of parts are very specific and can not be altert for thickness right? like the nylon flipper bushings.
i measured my Williams bride of pinbot playfield at 12mm.
so i always thought this is the standard. do other manufacturers have it different?

Quoted from benheck:

Hm so how does one solve not getting enough deep sleep? I can be awoken with mouse farts.

Install some mouse traps to get rid of the mice, that should solve it.
