Actually Monk, you are right. With an oversized ball in a hallway you would have a moving reflection. The lighting likely being overhead and the ball would be much closer to the light source. So the reflection would be seen moving from left to right as the ball passes under the light source. You do not see this in the video the other gentlemen posted because the light source in that video is much farther away.
