I'm all for a real horror theme to be applied to pinball vs. the campy nonsense we usually get. I would love Halloween. Something new to the hobby (or at least something we haven't seen in a LONG time)? Yes please.

I’m pretty bored with the industry right now. After playing it, Mando is just another stern with terrible call outs and was bored in 15 min. American pinball is out to lunch, deep root a joke, JJP making GnR for another year (and it’s overrated and I own it). I’m really hoping spooky brings it!

On a side note, excited to get alien back with the new version Bc that game is incredible for those that haven’t played it

I agree. What’s also interesting is that the Halloween trailer was leaked a week early and should have been released this week…. Which is when spooky is revealing.

I would love for it to be Halloween. Would be my number 1 by far than Freddy. Collectors edition of either though

B/c I’m looking for a straight up scary pinball machine. I love Alien for that as it presents a dark, serious tone and presence. Pinball is already saturated with campy humor. Freddy would still be good but if someone wants a real no BS horror pinball machine, Halloween is exactly that. Halloween 1 is still the scariest movie out there and it wasn’t about gore - just amazing music, setup, feel - terrifying. I love nightmare but Freddy was getting too campy at the end. Ultimately, I would be happy with either - collectors no doubt!

HELL YES! Just heard the news. Great job Spooky! Killer theme. Music is already baked in and it’s amazing. Opportunity to bring something new to the industry as we don’t have a real deal horror game. With halloween we can be assured no campy BS.

After looking at this game without my Halloween fanboy glasses, it really is a great package IF those upper play fields deliver and don’t slow the game down. Uppers to me either work well or they are terrible. We’ll see

People who have interest in the theme but waiting it out until gameplay - bad move. Market is insane right now. Game is priced really well - it will sell out. Get in now and flip it if you decide you don’t want it. If you don’t, you might miss out completely and have to pay up to get it.

If you’re crazy enough to be following a pinball website to know a game is being pre ordered in 10 min and you like the theme but still don’t get it, big mistake.

Guys - if you haven’t listened to the super awesome pinball podcast (latest one) - you should. Really good convo with Spooky about this game. For a young kid, Bug certainly acts the part. Good job.

I did hear that not all of the assets were given to spooky and that they got the halloween score. Does that mean you guys got all of the good music from the movie or just the theme? There are a few really good music clips that play throughout the movie that really set the stage (not just the theme song). Did you guys get those too?

Awesome guys. I heard through the podcast that the IP holder had them ensure it felt very Halloween, even requiring multiple revisions to make it fit so I’m confident it will fit well.

Super pumped that all the original music is in there Bc although the theme is amazing, so are the other tunes that play throughout the movie
