Scooby doo would be great. I think this was my favorite cartoon, now I'm 53. I still have that nostalgia on Scooby. I have often thought a Scooby pin could rock.
I would like a Warner brothers / bugs bunny far less. But that one also has the nostalgia for some people.
How bout an outer limits?
image (resized).jpegQuoted from Zablon:They made 6 actually. You forgot this one, so apparently in the hood must have been popular....and the recent remake, which was actually pretty good.

The ultimate theme for pinball. Happy 1st.

Quoted from P1nhead:Even though I play R&M much, much less than my new sterns, I am part of that Spooky cult now. Quality made and from a company that demonstrates time and time again how much they truly appreciate their customers.
Irrespective of theme, my wife and I are all in on the next title to support the company.
I Agree with buy spooky and don’t wait. All around.
I would think this next title is going to be special... I like surprises.
Quoted from joetechbob:I would also lose my shit. Evil Dead in general is good, but Army of Darkness specifically is just so magical with its humour. Would be great in pinball form.
Remember seeing army of the dead at the theater. In Stanton ca. The theater is there but my friends comics store - altered images and also golfland (great pins). Both gone. But the memory remains in a boomstick.
Trick r treat is my Halloween night / go to movie...
I thought it was good when I first saw it but it has aged like fine wine to me. Just a bit better every time.

Duplicate sorry.
I’m a huge tim burton fan. I’d dig a Tim burton pinball vs any specific movie pinball. Why settle for one.
I would include this somehow...
Quoted from Betelgeuse:I had thought about this too, but licensing the magazine rights would likely only grant use of the logo. The rights to the monsters themselves are still held by their respective owners, so multiple licenses from different entities would need to be secured. Licensing for Lugosi, for example, is handled by his family estate. It does seem like a fitting theme for Spooky, though.

I keep waiting to simply see a famous monsters reprint book series like the ones they have done with creepy and eerie.
My favorite issue.

That is my favorite artist Richard Corben who drew that cover. He passed away in 2020.

Hold on...
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:This movie is amazing. I am a Millenial, and this movie is fantastic as a comedy. I challenge anyone to sit through the soundtrack off of youtube for 20 minutes.
Just because you can make electronic sound effects does not mean you should.
I would remake this movie if I could.
Quoted from transprtr4u:Pee Wee's big adventure to the movie theatre
Recently I met a younger girl who described a movie as scaring the crap out of her. Once I asked a couple questions, the movie turned out to be peewees big adventure?
Fear comes in many different shapes.

You have the Klown Kar / Ice Cream Truck / Tent
Many many different things plus it’s in a resurgence with New Video Game + Spirit Halloween getting stronger sales each year
Instant sight unseen buy for me

The best maze at universal horror this year was killer clowns imo.
On a related note.
My friend recently received his Halloween. I think it really pops. The perfect game for a Halloween party.
I think the fact that spooky is here and sharing is critical. Polls as to the next game heard by the manufacturers. Yes please.
I myself would lean into Conan original and rocky horror picture show.
I don’t buy I play though. Again I really think spooky here at pinside is a great thing for pinball.
They live.
EE0981CE-0A6F-4C27-8DD0-36EB23C0026E (resized).jpegIf I worked at spooky I would try to get my pinball to be Conan the barbarian original.
There are a couple other titles in that category but I would do that if I could. Second probably blade runner. That machine needs creation.
In terms of music Hendrix or Motörhead or both over time.
My final request is Rocky Horror picture show. Curry is still alive but health is failing fast. (Very sadly)
These five would be something to see.
EE343BC1-91BC-4E44-94E1-6E0639044584 (resized).jpegSlayer but they would need to sell me on it. It would make them committed.
So I guess slayer -honorable mention!
Saw would be a must buy for a good friend. He is not really into pinball anymore but his last purchase was the Halloween pin.
I’m just saying, a non buyer who buys horror…
Temple of set raid. Conan the barbarian. Still my pick. I like the original blade runner too, for a pin theme.
Quoted from PanzerKraken:They have tried multiple times to do a sequel, but no one gives them the money they need. SyFy tried to get them to make the movie for the same budget they made the original one.... which they did back in the 80s. The creators are all about practical effects, it's what they do for a living, and they have stated they need a decent budget to do a sequel which no one will give them, most horror is made dirty cheap nowadays and the ones pumping big money into horror aren't interested in a cult movie.
You had me at killer klowns. Hands down the best maze at universal horror nights Hollywood.
Really, I started to listen when the topic of horror movies and budgets popped up.
It seems like the way into horror is through low budget. But I would pay money literally for some really good big budget horror.
Double the budget on killer klowns 2, my opinion.
Killer klowns 2; Double Down.
They go to Vegas.
Quoted from TreyBo69:I feel like it's only hinted at/implied in the original movies. But it was major point in the 2010 remake
In The original first film, the revenge (or vigilante death of Freddy character) was vigilante justice on the Freddy character abusing the children of the adults who kill him. Including the sheriff himself.
It was, in my perception downplayed in the later films. But the original concept always remained and his victims were almost exclusively children.
I saw it in the first run at a downtown theater in an arbor.
I did not yet see the remake.
I often thought, what if they were wrong and he was innocent…
I should check out the remake so I can say I did.
