Quoted from colonel_caverne:

Sorry, what is the relation between the family friendly theme and the low number production?
I would like Scooby doo because i love humour in a pin, i think it helps a lot to get fun. I still think MM is the best sound package ever.

Until Rick and Morty. Which I think exceeds it.

Quoted from Pin_Fandango:

I know this thread might be a bit biased to ask this question but just looking for opinions:
How is the build quality of these games? I received a message from someone else in another forum and I was told everything is 3d printed and low quality like in a 'home brew'. Is that true?

Uh, no. My 'butter cab' RAM is the nicest pin in my lineup currently. (Mechs etc. under the playfield are not home brew, but there is a difference between Spooky vs. Stern/JPP).

#1711 2 years ago
Quoted from Pin_Fandango:

Can you elaborate in that difference you talk about? that is what I am interested in... I am honestly asking because never seen one before.

In the butter cab? Sure, I wasn't convinced either until I received mine (a friend talked me into ordering the upgrade, Im now glad he did). I guess the best way I would describe it without pics is that it's a clear coat on the artwork. It gives both a shine and a layer of depth the cabinet art doesnt usually have. This, combined with the artwork/integration of the theme is really striking. I have it next to a GB and my IM and my fully restored TZ, and of that group it stands out pretty significantly in visual appeal/presentation. Only TZ, which has several mirrored upgrades, is 'on par' with it from just an art/optics etc. perspective.

I think if I were to buy another Spooky pin (which after owning this one I would) I would likely opt for another 'butter' cab.

Oh, and to echo the previous poster, the playfield on my RAM is amazing.

Quoted from guitarded:

Obviously you have never plunged a ball on one.

This 100%. Legitimately one of the best pins made in the last few years imho.

Quoted from Zablon:

That's very specific....</blockquote

I gotta’ know right now…

Quoted from benheck:

I hope Spooky makes a MEAT LOAF pin next!

Rocky horror picture show confirmed

#5799 2 years ago
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

I promise you this... somewhere right now, there is in fact... the Loaf. Lurking. Quiet. Subtle.
I say no more, I say no less.

All be damned….. Tim Curry finally gets the pinball glory he has surly earned.

Meat is back on the menu boys!

Come on Luke get in trouble give us more hints

Why you tryin’ to get this man fired?

Quoted from greenhoody:

He's already on the shadow!

I said the glory he deserved! If it ain’t his face on the back glass we have failed him completely.

William Shatner is gonna stab me!

You’re not green, you have little to worry about.

Quoted from Zablon:

Only a matter of time before someone says "Paradise by the Pinstadium Lights", so it may as well be me.

If this isn’t a mode I will be upset.

Quoted from transprtr4u:

Backglass shown ?
Link please

Naw, it’s just a pic of Ben heck’s back hair.

#5981 2 years ago
Quoted from clempo:

That's not how it works. Ben is safe because he is not wearing a red shirt.

Why not both?

#5993 2 years ago
Quoted from clempo:

In Star Trek, the new guy wearing a red shirt is always the first guy getting killed.

Aye mate I know, I was going for a tawdry inference….. all good

#6344 2 years ago
Quoted from clempo:

I guess you are right, Ben is not safe if Kirk mistakes him for a woman...

Ben is not safe period. He has knowledge

Quoted from finnflash:

If the 2nd theme has to be family friendly, I hope it's the Happy Tree Friends.

We all know what Spooky’s next pin should be: UHF. This needs to and must happen. Discuss.

Rick and Morty Season 2: The Revenge. You heard it here first folks.

Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

Another version would be cool, but it would be so much better if they picked another theme. Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors comes to mind.

Who is to say it isnt an upgrade packed to existing machines (and or a small run of new machines). TOH is cool, but there also have been two Simpons pins and their shelf life also may be a bit dated.

Quoted from yaksplat:

Is anyone else nervous about Spooky making Scooby Doo? It's one of my grail themes so I'm hoping that they can do the theme justice. Toy story was another grail theme and JJP botched that one spectacularly. So that was a huge letdown.

Depends on who they have for the coder/designer.

Quoted from Pinhead_:I'll eat a pop bumper if we get a teaser before the end of 2023.

Their release of information should be contingent on your video.
