Quoted from TechnicalSteam:So with Rick and Morty selling out so darn fast.
I'm curious, did they send an email out to Members with purchase options? Prior to selling out?
No

Quoted from CrazyLevi:It's almost as if video games themes just don't seem to lend themselves too well to pinball?
I don't know. The few homebrews that people have built seem to implement the IP pretty well (Metroid, Sonic, Castlevania, Cup Head to name a few). Like mentioned earlier, it's not the material, it's how it's done.
I think a fan of a game would be able to do it justice. You just need that intersection between a video game enthusiast and a pinball enthusiast.
My little TNA story:
The TNA whitewood was on display at the first ever MGC I ever went to, just months after getting our first machine. At the time, I was a complete noob and knew nothing of designers, companies, who's who, etc. Walked up to TNA literally knowing nothing about the game or the person. I saw it with infantile eyes. I stepped up to play it, and this guy starts talking to me, telling how to play. I told him it was a fun game and went on my way to see the rest of the show. My wife and I came back at least another 4 or 5 times to play the game, given all of the other games that were on the floor. Old stuff, new stuff and everything in between. I noticed the same guy standing over there thinking, man, he must really love this game. Chatted with him for a bit. Come to learn later that it was Scott talking to us about his game, and we had no idea that he made it. When it was announced that Spooky was going to build it, we decided almost immediately that we were buying one. No hype man, just a man with a passion project making fun-ass pinball.
The Houdini prototype was at that show and there was a long line to play it. I played the limited 2 balls on that game and never went back.
Jack Danger sending positive vibes while driving in his car...possible HW play stream?

Quoted from DeadFlip:STOOOOOOOKED.
I have a LOT of gear to lug out to Benton.
I miss streaming with my Spooky Pals!
What time will it be?
Spooky branded themselves as a "boo"tique manufacturer that takes care of their customers with quality products and fun games, in a way that (arguably) only a small company can do. They show 100% customer service and are there to back up their product. They've admitted to faults and show that by improving game after game after game. They listen to their customers. What would there be to "re-brand"? Small scale or not, they can still carry these ideals as they grow. Spooky and Stern are the sure-fire pinball companies right now that put out fun, dependable and quality games.
Nothing to re-brand. As a matter of fact, I hope they continue with their current brand.
EDIT: after re-reading the initial comment, the find it funny how I saw the "brand" as something completely different than the surface brand of "spooky" games as in horror, not what I wrote above.
