Quoted from DanQverymuch:

...
Anything Spooky comes up with is sure to be a letdown after R&M, AFAIC.

All I can say, is just wait until you see the playfield!

Quoted from Zablon:

I feel like a whole lot of people are going to be let down.

There will always be people disappointed with a theme, no matter how great it is.

Spooky's next several titles will make a great many people very happy.

Quoted from DanQverymuch:

I'm sure whatever it turns out to be will be awesome! But speaking just for myself, there is no other franchise that has been seriously discussed that I like anywhere near as much as I do Rick and Morty, and the pin integrates it so well that for me, nothing could compare...

Completely agree. R&M is definitely in my top favorite pins of all time. Everything just connects for me. The next game has me very excited though.

Quoted from djsolzs:

All I know is that it better be stacked and loaded

Great way to describe the playfield!

Where did Spooky get the idea for their pin? It must be something Charlie likes.

A "how to make a bust" pin?

Looks an awful lot like the cabinet photo

I think someone who knows, has said He-Man is not the theme.

Quoted from EasternBloc:

Since we're all just throwing around dream themes, I'll take a Spooky Space Madness pin, please.
[quoted image]

Quoted from jellikit:

No Spooky, but you do have Pinky & The Brain.
[quoted image]

Either of these would make me VERY happy!!

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

Spooky! We know you are reading these! Can you pop in and eliminate one pin theme? Even if it is just telling us it is not My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic?

I'll go out on a limb and confirm "My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic" is not a theme being done by Spooky Pinball.

The playfield thing guys, the quote was "multiple playable upper playfields". Y'all are thinking too two-dimensionally.

Quoted from SLAMT1LT:

Horror is my top theme for a pinball game. A pinball machine is tailor made for this genre - it's physical, it's mechanical, it has real lighting effects.....no video game or movie can reproduce that. But no, you all get endless kiddie games and old man Rock. Like I've said before.....no one has the balls to make a true horror experience.

IMHO keeping Butter Cabinets as an option is very important.

Butter Cabinets aren't a good idea for operators and locations. They're great for basements where they'll never get moved and bounced around by the general public that don't give a crap if the cabinet can't be repaired if damaged.

A lot of operators will want all the great upgrades like the topper, so will buy a CE, but they definitely aren't going to want the clear coated Butter Cabinet.

Quoted from Shapeshifter:

Who designed the playfield?
Who is coding this one?

A few of the Spooky crew, new pinball design blood. They did a fantastic job. The playfield is awesome!

Fazma is on code.

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

I'm still very curious how they will pull off 2 themes with one playfield... It can't really be a totally different theme from Halloween since the playfield art must be somewhat related to Halloween... I can't wait for the reveal!

Two themes using the same playfield layout. Two separate stunning art packages, display assets, call outs, etc.

Quoted from greenhoody:

That's a good guess. I'm guessing it'll be something like a TV show something where the set is always in a home or an apartment for the most part.

Not a guess, just a personal dream theme for a good pin. Along with...

Trailer Park Boys
Ren & Stimpy
Pinky and the Brain
Animaniacs
Futurama
Gremlins

Quoted from Zablon:

Except that's been mentioned multiple times..
Time to REALLY think outside the box.
Most likely something pretty old...and very obscure. We know it isn't BL, anything JC, or AS for example. Not TA, not even Deathbed or Rubber lol.
Or apparently Trailer Park of Terror
Hmm....

No need to think outside the box, I already know the theme, and have played Halloween. Lots of very cool stuff in this Spooky release.

Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

The point of the post was that he just couldn’t help himself from letting everyone know that HE knows what the game is. Annnnd, I’d do the same f’n thing hahaha

LOL! I've known the theme for years at this point, and haven't said a thing. I'm just excited for everyone to see everything. Spooky's done a fantastic job from what I've seen thus far.

Thanks! Looks like none of them are local. I got used to my local distributer dude who I could buzz to come and fix stuff, maybe I need to pester him to become Spooky authorized as well.

I'm actually in California a lot. Though my travel schedule may be changing quite a bit soon.

Quoted from Gambeno:

I hope we get some type of art on this Bridge. Be nice if they add some type of art on the plastic in the top and front. Seems like a missed opportunity. It's a bit of a eyesore bare.

Absolutely needs something.

There's a reason there's no art or sculpt there.

Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

This is actually untrue. Spooky only had to sell half of that number from the website for it to technically be “sold out” distributors had the game available for weeks after.

Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

After 6 months maybe...but you can buy from distributors for weeks after the Spooky store “sell out” The fomo here is a bit manufactured. You want to bite the bullet soon but I think the whol F5 F5 F5 thing is unnecessary

I keep seeing this getting posted, (mostly by you?) it is absolutely not true. Spooky and distributors sold out day one, period.

There may have been the occasional game come available due to duplicate orders, people backing out for some reason, etc., but myself, Spooky, and other distributors sold out day one. Fact.
