It was not technically sold out in 4 hours. There was a two week period where you could have secured one if you just asked all the Spooky distros. And after that period some spots opened up because you inevitably have people back out. But there were definitely a few available a couple weeks after the announcement.

SPOOKY sold out... not distros.
Same as Fathom ME was sold out, but I think there are still a couple available from distros, but probably not for long.
Yeah, and Spooky, the manufacturer, was the one selling them! When distros agree to take so many, the company considers them sold.

DanQverymuch for the downvote! Actually that doesn't mean it is sold out if you can still buy one from an authorized distributor. I don't understand the confusion here. If you mean all Spooky games were allocated then yes, they were. But you could still buy one from a distro for at least 2 weeks after release. I know because I reached out to several pinsiders who were looking for the game (actually posting in the R&M thread) and gave them contact info for several distros that I knew still had stock. They were very happy to find one! This wasn't like 2 or 3 games either I am not talking about a private buyer who just sits on NIB pins aka scumbags.
Listen, Spooky's website was sold out in four hours, their entire run of 750 was allocated. Why can't you let them have that?
Of course anyone can find any game they want somewhere, if they call everyone and wave money around. So nothing is ever sold out?

The reality is, that's a narrative that sounds good, but isn't true. 50 or so games were pre allocated to 'top people' if you remember that whole ordeal. Around half went to distros. that left only around 300ish on Spooky's site. **numbers aren't exact**
Unpopular opinion is if they are going to 'simplify' things by having 3 tiers (smh) then they should 'simplify' things by either going all distro or only on their web site. They have yet to announce what changes they've made to this process and that is concerning. I have a feeling they are going to 'spring' those changes on us with the announcement and you are going to see a lot of people who aren't hammering refresh on pinside or facebook completely confused about how to order.

Disagree on this one. If you look at the "More Better video" you can clearly see ACNC on the line.
It is my understanding that they sold out of ALMOST all of these in the original run. They promised a max of 500 I think. They had a few spare parts left around and did a line of another 50 or so with what they had on hand to keep the line moving while they put together, tweak, and prepare to reveal their latest pin.
With that said, I am not an official source on any of this and am not affiliated with Spooky in any way (although I am an official member of their Fang club!).

But I don't see a list of Distributors on the Spooky website.
I also emailed Spooky for the Texas distributors, but yet to hear back.
Could not get a lead on a Texas distributor for Spooky googling

That is not what they posted.
Spooky specifically said they have a handful of Alice Coopers that were allocated to a distributor that we’re never realized.
Yes they are new builds, in fact they even said that in their post that they are “on the line”.
Any speculation about these being made out of spare parts snd being machines outside the allocated production numbers is pure speculation.
I do not believe that to be true.

They said something about a distributor not actually selling all of their allocation, or something to that effect.
Pretty cool that they are able to squeeze in another small run as ACNC is a really great game.
