Happy Days was a spin off of an episode from Love, An American Style.
LTG : )

"An" American Style?

I had no idea because I distinctly remember really hating that show the few times I saw it as a kid. A VERY 70s show.

Charlie did mention in the last podcast his number 1 machine for a musical is Rocky Horror. It would be stacked and loaded with callouts with Tim Curry etc. It would serve a 3 deck playfied well. It also spans generations. I'm sure the license wasn't that bad. It would definitely fit a spooky theme that everyone would love.

Quoted from Zablon:

They should do a pin around Action Park...the flipper buttons have nails sticking out of them and shoots balls at you so it is just like being there.

As someone who grew up in NJ in the 80’s and 90’s, Action Park was fantastic!! What more could you ask for in an amusement park? You could either have the greatest day or be afflicted with a horrible injury. Sounds like my kinda coin flip!

Right on. I agree on the action park injury part. It's like buying a deeproot machine what kind of injury do you want

Not to mention that it would then also be appropriate to use Queen’s A Kind of Magic album for the soundtrack… win-win.

Great idea with the queen highlander game. How about another double whammy like Mortal Kombat and BTILC?

Spooky has got a great niche’ with the quirky themes. I’d be surprised and a little disappointed if they moved away from that model.

Pee Wee's big adventure to the movie theatre

Recently I met a younger girl who described a movie as scaring the crap out of her. Once I asked a couple questions, the movie turned out to be peewees big adventure?

You know what's weird, if the new game is a movie license, it would be Spooky's first movie license theme.

Ash vs. Evil Dead confirmed.

I was thinking about this, and a fitting theme for spooky would be "Cabin in the Woods"

I'm going to count Rob Zombie as half a movie license, since it brings in a bit from House of 1000 Corpses.

You can tell how old some of you are with what theme you call out. One of the worst I have seen, the one that takes the cake is Abbott and Costello. To you MR old timer will be the 1 out of 10 sales that snooze fest would have. My dad talked about them when I was a kid. Worst 20 min of my life was watching them. The 3 stooges are the runner up to WORST THEME POSSIBLE!!! HEY maybe they can do it in black and white like the Munsters!!!! Bet that would wet your whistle. SHHHHESH!

three stooges are really old, but people hurting themselves never seems to go out of style. Just look at jackass, or chris farley falling down all the time.

Jackass could not give away content today...for free. As great as Chris Farley "was" he has been dead almost a 1/4 century.

How old are you? It seems alot of pinball themes target 35 to 55 age group and older. I think 3 stooges fits in that for sure. Abbot and Costello was really popular when I was a kid (in the 80s).

Jackass 4 will be one of the biggest movies of the year, easily.

#2545 2 years ago

Okay so color palette from the cabinet art was very 80s cartoon. The purple bricks and tattered rug/tapestry Im thinking most likely Scooby, maybe He Man, maaybe Evil Dead Army of Darkness. Hoping Scooby Doo, finishing a mode and having them shout "Old Man Jenkins" at the end sounds sooooo gratifying.

bc we are halfway through the year and there aren't any movies! duuuuh.

but most college aged, high school aged, idiot humor seeking boys will go see it with their friends and girlfriends and laugh their asses off. I did when I was that age for Jackass. for about a week. then i was like... how many kicks to the nuts can a guy take before it's just.... weird...
