This would be a fun mode for sure.
Time warp time.
Here’s some more details about Evil Dead Rise, apparently it’s a continuation of the original trilogy and takes place in the city. Raimi and Campbell are behind the camera as director and producer. Sounds cool to me! https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2021/film/news/evil-dead-rise-hbo-max-sam-raimi-1234982112/amp/
‘Return of the living dead’ would be incredible. Awesome sound track, great cast w/ great callouts, just enough camp to keep it fun and creepy enough for true horror fans. That’s a winner in my book. That and ‘Army of Darkness’ of coarse! ‘Night of the demons’ would be perfect too. But it’s a lesser known classic unfortunately.
Quoted from benheck:Maybe not Evil dead... But Return of the Living Dead?
A Nightmare Before Christmas on Elm Street!
The Howling.
Fifth Element.
Bible Adventures.

This would be sweet.

Have to have Trash getting her kit off in the graveyard mode, each shot and she loses another item of clothing! Shwing!!!

OH JEEEESSSSUUUUSS!!!!!
Gimmie a The Warriors. Get back to Coney Island fighting gangs along the way. It’d have the best attract callout…
Honestly one of the hottest strip scenes in any film.

Quoted from Beechwood:Kaneda now says Freddy Nightmare on Elm street...
Whelp, they couldn't do any worse than the Gottleib one...
But it wouldn't move the needle for me.
Quoted from TechnicalSteam:Evil Dead, Scooby, Svenghoolie. I've heard B horror movie theme from some semi reliable sources.
Svengoolie. Man, that takes me back. I could totally see something like that as an alternative to EHOH. Can't imagine there's a large audience for that though....
So The Return of the Living Evil Dead Punchy The Clown still has a shot ?
Too cool.
Thanks Charlie and Ben, and Spooky Pinball !
They may have put the Boo in pinball. But they sure put the fun and anticipation in this thread !
LTG : )

give him enough guesses he’ll get it right one time.

I was just about to post his, yes please.

Holy crap fighting your way through the gangs. The DJ call outs and the soundtrack
That would be awesome
I know spooky does not give a sh!t but if they do not spill the beans soon I will just buy DEADPOOL.
come on spooky, this is getting old.

I’d love to see something like the Elvis upper playfield, but as a train station
Shoot a turnstile spinner to go up the ramp to the station, use an upper flipper to shoot into a train door opening and closing. Load up the gang and it dispenses balls, maybe like the Ghostbusters ramp that dips under the playfield.
A train map could show the progress with branching difficulty paths.
ITS. NOT. JUNE. YET.

Quoted from Fytr:It's Scooby Doo. It's always been Scooby Doo...[quoted image]
My dog's nickname is Stoopy Doo
A scooby machine would be nice

Pop bumpers could be sculpted like 3 glass bottles “Warriors come out to play” Haha
Also gotta have the Coney Island Ferris wheel in there too.
the TV series Supernatural would have made for a great pinball theme!
nice to play to Carry on my Wayward son

The Mrs would lose her shit, she loves supernatural. We’d definitely be getting one!
Quoted from mackey256:FINALLY!!! PHANTASM PINBALL CONFIRMED!!!
Well...darn...I didn't get that the Evil Dead poster was not a serious thing... Alas, I was super pumped yesterday, now I'm a bit down as it is clearly not Evil Dead. I wonder what the game will be...
Quoted from Betelgeuse:OH JEEEESSSSUUUUSS!!!!!

In case of emergency...1-800-454-8000.
Quoted from stefanmader:Hmm would want a nightmare on elm street, it already exists...
A much greater updated version!
Quoted from gamera9:My hope is Gamera. Great giant monster theme that is not Godzilla and not popular enough for Stern to care. Most Spooky fans will buy anything and Charlie is a fan. Ultraman is also a possibility, although I imagine they would want too much for the license. Scooby Doo is also a great theme, the animation is similar to Alice Cooper and some of the stuff on that game looks like Scooby Doo.
I think Gamera would be awesome.

Buy DP anyway, great game and you'll have at least 6 months to wait for the new Spooky game anyway, plenty of time to play DP and then decide what game to sell when your Scooby Doobie game is ready.

I was gonna say ... play it, you’ll be done with it before the new Spooky arrives.
Mine lasted 3 months before I got bored with it.
Liked the theme, liked the humour, liked the shots ... but it got old playing the same game over and over.
Plus, multiplayer games would go on forever.
YMMV but that’s my take.

Well it would last a lot longer if it wasn't your only pin...
Quoted from Zablon:So it's official, the next pin is not a horror pin. Going to be ATHF!
I would pay top dollar for a Metalocalypse pin.

Why do you think this? Was something posted on fb stating the Evil Dead tease was a red herring?
Quoted from Mudflaps:You mean the movie lied??!!
That's not a bad question, Bert!

If you read his first comment on FB on that photo, he eludes to it not being Evil Dead...(and then posted the same poster thing about Phantasm today). This would lead most of us to believe that it is neither of these.

Um... rabid weasels.
