Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

I saw Alice Cooper with Ace Frehley in 2109 and they still rock and sound great.

Next time you head out in the time machine, hit me up. I'll ride shotgun!

#1752 1 year ago
Quoted from punkin:

I'm not lecturing you or anyone else. I'm merely putting forward a view that the world has moved forward in 40 years.
I'm perfectly entitled to that view too.

Then stop playing pinball...it’s some old ass irrelevant game for people from 1950. The world has moved forward. The cool modern kids are playin’ their Gameboys & TurboGrafx!!! Get with the times!!!!!

Quoted from Coindork:

It’s a quote from Gomez Addams in the movie during the fencing scene.
It is in Addams when you sneak a ball bast the bookcase, similar to the “you cheat Dr. Jones” call out in Indiana Jones when you put a ball in the Idol lock without hitting the drop targets first.
The quote originates from Addams.

This quote is also at the end of Diary of a Mad Housewife. Except it's said by Peter Boyle to Carrie Snodgress.

Love that movie.

You are clearly from the future, so how does Kapow’s BTTF turn out?

#1755 1 year ago
Quoted from punkin:

Merely suggesting they move with the times.
I'm not creayive, therefore my examples suck, but it still doesn't need to be a theme from something from 40 years ago.

TNA takes place in the future, Rick and Marty is current tv. Rob Zombie is fairly current, What are you talking about?

Quoted from punkin:

Agreed, but most of the people in bars are younger people in my experience. At least in Australia, the older generations put their money in stinking fucking poker machines (slots). They are in every bar, pub and social club across the country.
There are plenty of recognizable themes that are not from our childhood, TWD is one of the best pinball machines out there. Nostlagia is ok i guess, but i listen to modern music and watch new release movies.
Loved Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple when i was a kid, but i wouldn't go to see those old cunts thrashing the same songs from 40 years ago if i got free tickets. Rather see an up and coming band.
It was all about the new music back then, but people forget that.
I can only think that us old guys are their primary target market, and i think that should change before we all die.
In any case, us progressive's are certainly in the minority, so I'll let you get back to your stroll through your happy childhood.

Hey mate I'm with ya' !

Anyway only have to look as far as Rick and Morty. My game was at a Open State level event with 47 other pinball machines in the city for 3 days, last weekend. It did not get a break!. People young and old lining up to play in between events. What was the most FAQ to me... "Where can I buy one of these!??" Lol

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

So is Scooby still a possibility? Kaneda was right about Mandolarian.

Kaneda also predicted Halloween was it. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

#1758 1 year ago

It's Haunted House Party... a bunch of licences having a party. In a House.

#1759 1 year ago

So Murder House...but with the actual characters, not just the actors

#1760 1 year ago

Kaneda hinted it was SD then said it wasn’t. Then said it was coming again. It’s real easy to pretend you’re right about things when you predict both outcomes. How do people still think he’s an insider?

#1761 1 year ago

Just read about a new Scooby Doo Reunion Special coming out later this year. Also HBO Max announced a new series from Mindy Kaling about Velma from Scooby Doo. So it looks like Warner Bros thinks Scooby still has a lot of life left in the franchise. So they might have been excited about a possible pinball license.

Warner has never not had a Scooby show/movie/direct to video in production. It has always had life, it will never die.

What if the next game is Ben Heck the pinball machine.
I’ll bet the call outs would be amazing.

Should put those two things together.... re-cast Scrooge McDuck as Solomon... lots of options here. Biblical Duckberg!

Dunno. Bible Adventures presented like God of War could be amazing, but if you're going that route, why not just stick with the mythology angle which is much less divisive/controversial?

Ooohhh. Zipper flippers! YESSSSSS.

Hogbog - get on it! Guaranteed it won't end up in an Elwin pin like the jjGnR/AIQ disc because Stern would never approve that BOM.

Scooby is still relevant after 52 years, and most likely will remain so. My kids love the cartoon and my eventual grandkids will see Scooby also. It is multi generational.

So this news just dropped.

New Line has made it official that a sequel to the The Evil Dead is in the works for WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max. The film, Evil Dead Rise, will be directed and written by Irish filmmaker Lee Cronin and star Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan.

The original 1981 pic’s filmmaking team is back for Evil Dead Rise: Sam Raimi, who directed, wrote and executive produced Evil Dead, will serve as EP here; Robert Tapert, who served as EP and producer on the first, will produce; and Bruce Campbell, who starred as Ashley J. Williams and executive produced the original will EP on the second go-round. He will not star in the next chapter here.

( for those that don't know, this sounds like a sequel to the 2013 film)

Just like Rush as a theme, this would be another theme for USA only. I could not ever imagine any demand for such a theme in EU or Australia.

Each to our own..... I'd love Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Rush has a couple albums that cracked the top 10 charts in European countries, and a bunch more in the top 30.

Plus Canada, eh!

Again, assuming the Bible Adventures pin would be religious? Nope. No Jesus, no God just pure BABY MURDERING ACTION!

Charlton Heston’s Bible Adventures with a gun handle auto launcher

#1789 1 year ago

Kaneda also stating that Spooky's new game will come in 3 tiers. There will be a Standard , LE and CE version of the game. I for one am totally fine with those options although it will further limit some availability I'm sure.

Bruce Campbell is possibly coming back. Could be perfect timing.

So something like:

CE = bloodsuckers ?
LE = all the non club member bling?
Standard = stock ?

Old blood and guts. Get the desert fox in there and various other WW2 elements. When the pop bumpers are activated they can use sounds of the Flak 88 and implement a shaker motor and lighting effects to make it represent the flak guns going off.

#1795 1 year ago

CE = Chainsaw Edition

I took Spooky’s tease and put it under a microscope and seen this .I hope it’s on the cabinet art.

All this Evil Dead talk. I Loved the movies! Tried watching a couple episodes of that TV show, what was it called, Ash vs. Evil Dead or something. Bought the box set, watched a couple episodes and couldn’t get into it. Do I need to give it another try?

Follow the money. What age bracket makes the money? Not really hard to understand..

And yes, I am aware that some "youngers" have gobs of cash.

I say again, what age bracket makes the money.. So Rush it is(If you are Stern) I'm hoping Spooky stays true to course and releases something known, but with the usual edge and snark.
