Kaneda has been wrong before and I hope he’s wrong this time too. I would have to see it first, but I would likely pass on a Halloween pin. I like spooky themed pins that are light-hearted like ACNC or EHoH, not bloody/evil like I think a Halloween would be.
Believe it or not there is hardly a drop of blood shown in Halloween 1.
Mostly suspence.
It's not till part 2 in 1982, that things get red.
And Myer's only kills 5 that we know of in the film.
His Sister, tow truck driver, and Laurie's 3 friends.
Oh, and maybe a cat or raccoon.

I’m kind of thinking it’s not Halloween. The shared pic just doesn’t feel like Halloween and with production supposedly up to 1000 I feel like they will make a safer bet. With that being said, I think Halloween would be a really cool outside of the box choice.

Imagine if it comes out and it's actually "Haunted House Party". 
Including Universal monsters, Jason, Freddy, Dracula, Alice Cooper, Beetlejuice, Rob Zombie, etc... Lol

Regardless of the theme, I’m sure Spooky will crush it. However, I’m hoping it’s not Halloween, and I’m a huge Halloween fan.
The Halloween movies aren’t fun (except III). The first one is a classic, and some of the sequels are decent enough, but they don’t make you clap or smile or scream. Evil Dead or Friday the 13th do those things because they’re scary enough without being too realistic and silly enough without being straight up comedy.
I’m sure Spooky will do it right, whatever the theme.

Honestly I know Rocky Horror is universally loved but neither of us can stand it.
I can't believe all of the people voicing thier displeasure with the idea of Spooky making a real horror pin. There are a dozen other manufacturers making games with family friendly themes. Plently to pick from. There have only been a few horror games over the last few decades... BSD, TWD and Mystery Castle? Spooky doesn't need to sell thousands of units. We are way past due and Spooky is the company to deliver. Having said that, I'm not sure how well Halloween works as a pinball theme. It will be interesting to see how they pull that off, if that's really the theme. I have my doubts that it is.

There have been a few depending on how flexible you are with the word “horror”. Spooky/haunted may be a better word choice. Here are the remaining I can think of:
Alien, HH, Elvira 1/2/3, ACNC, AMH, MB, CFTBL, POTO, TAF, TFTC, MSF, Munsters, Medusa
Halloween is a slasher film not horror.

Hmmm...Ben has now denied it's Beetlejuice three times, aka Beetlejuice confirmed. PS: I do think there are well over 1,000 buyers for a Beetlejuice pinball machine. It's a way better them then Munsters.

I do know one thing, most of us will be wrong. Flashbacks of the Stern puzzle teaser that wasn’t a pin but an actual puzzle.
Spooky isn’t nearly as crass as Stern… I’m sure this is a photo of the actual cabinet.

I hope they do the thing of showing the underside off before the top. That was fun to figure out. Some people got pretty close in guessing the top side.

the shadows do not make sense so that is not the natural orientation of the actual drawing, it might have been auto rotated by the gyroscope in the phone and then rotated again by editing.
