Quoted from nickrivers:So it’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
TV show or movie?
Oooooo people would explode if that ended up at my location haha

Goonies and/or Gremlins. Gremlins would have topper of box w Gizmo in it singing (when he was bought in the movie) w smoke coming out of it w light effects. Gotta think of a good one for Goonies. Maybe skull of one eye willy? or treasure chest?

Stern's solution:
Flat plastic with 'synchronized' lighting
$1500
(multiple tabs open, thought this was the stern thread)
Spookey would do some flat plastics with the BSE, maybe a motor for slight animation. Their aftermarket one would be limited only by the license holder approval

Agreed. Really looking forward to what is next from Spooky!
I forgot where I heard but it will just be a single pin for the next few. No more like what they did with LT/Chainsaw and Ultraman/Halloween
Quoted from Cinci593:Futurama would be such a great pin
This is my number one want for theme .I just hope it’s done by someone with an obsessive love for the show . There’s way too much content and rich characters to draw from . If it’s gonna be a half assed attempt I’d rather it not be made at all
Quoted from Rizmo:I forgot where I heard but it will just be a single pin for the next few. No more like what they did with LT/Chainsaw and Ultraman/Halloween
Knapp did an interview with Bug and he said this. Also said they have 5 licenses locked up.

makes me wonder then how far along in development are they for each license

I Wish someone would bring back a King Kong. Would be instant buy for alot of people....Big foot would also be huge.

I dunno, modern Kong is not as enticing as classic Kong. I enjoyed Skull Island.

For the best, but I think they did a pretty good job anyways trying to get the most of their layouts

Has to be classic KONG!

Def the old one. I loved the data east cab. Simple artwork.

That’s exciting!
Hopefully Evil Dead with Bruce Campbell custom callouts is one of the (5)!

I know rumors have Stern doing Kong with Elwin designing, but I think Spooky will be doing it and it will be their next game. We all know Spooky loves to tease clues, and they even said recently that they’d be doing that for their next game. Twice in the past month or so we’ve seen Bug appear on screen wearing a classic King Kong shirt. It could be misdirection, but this is the kind of stuff they did in the lead up to their Scooby Doo announcement. So I’m betting on Kong next from Spooky. I hope it’s classic Kong. I’m sure they’ll kill it if they do it.

Futurama would make a great pin. The deliveries would drive the modes, you could have tubes for the ball, and you could get half the cast by hiring one guy.

And Spooky could make the first good game with tubes!

Here’s worn a half dozen other shirts that could be a theme too. And he purchased a nightmare on elm street. He loves misdirection. Their hints are usually a lot more complex.

You could be right. I remember the clues for Scooby were pretty obvious. That’s why I was thinking the Kong shirts would be the indicator. Of course there may also be some wishful thinking in there since I’ve been hoping for a classic Kong game for a while now. And I think Spooky would handle it right.

Hearing they have 5 licenses locked down makes me wonder if he’s not trolling us as much as playing the “long game”. I like it, and Spooky is definitely who I want to hit my grail themes. The universe needs a properly done South Park pin!
I think Evil Dead and Beetlejuice are realistic expectations at this point and if they got multiple licenses going.
Quoted from JorgesArcade:Beetlejuice coinciding with new movie would be epic
Well they would be missing it by several months if they won't release till next year.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:Oooooo people would explode if that ended up at my location haha
Our house would explode if Buffy (television show) were the theme. If it had Spike featured prominently, my wife would buy it immediately.
Quoted from benheck:Futurama would make a great pin. The deliveries would drive the modes, you could have tubes for the ball, and you could get half the cast by hiring one guy.
I think we have talked and brainstormed more about this game m/theme than any other.
Would be amazing to work on it!
while talking to "BUG" at Allentown while buying my looney tunes. I was wearing a Sponge bob shirt he said that was the next pin he wanted to do. I said no do futurama.......he said that was the one his programmers wanted to do.

Quoted from Rampmaster:Gonna keep hoping and dreaming of a Friday the 13th. Someday maybe. Someday.
Agreed..I need this in life. Preferably with some part 2 in it for me.

A great theme indeed. Spooky magic, make it happen!
I wouldn't be surprised if we see them actually do a limited run of Motorhead as the next pin. All the showing it off and support they gave that project, felt like them dipping their toes in the water to gauge interest more than anything.

Day one purchase from me!

Might have to do an epic team up on that game. It's near the top of DJ's and my dream list as well.
40 year anniversary for Goonies next year. I think Spooky has it. Im am waiting on this pin next year.
Simpsons Treehouse of Horror pin, or a Kang and Kodos pin with the theme being them trying to take over the earth. Flying saucers on the backglass and playfoields will sell.
If ya got the balls, talent and bankroll to pick up an “A” license, than go for it! If ya don’t, then ya pick from who will go with your friendly spirit and winning smile.
I agree with the comment about the needing a good A title theme. This is especially true if the business wants to draw in new buyers that never purchased from Spooky. The horror stuff and cartoons only appeal to a small bunch.

Yea they need to start cranking out super hero titles asap
