Quoted from gonzo73:

Halloween make $70 million worldwide in 1978, on a $ 325 K budget! that's $ 317 million today.
It was the most successful independent film for decades.
So not a cult movie...
Not arguing... just some facts.

True, but it's budget or success does not take away from it's cult following over the years. This is a movie people watch more than once, and this is the point.

When I bring up a film example like Fight Club, its IMDB rating is super high (Rating: 8.8/10 · ‎2,083,653 votes), with more than TWICE as many votes as The Big Lebowski (Rating: 8.1/10 · ‎801,275 votes) Both movies were released within a year of each other, so this is a very fair comparison.

From a numbers and business stand point, Fight Club would a dead ringer in comparison to TBL. TBL was produced so we now know TBLs numbers and it is a very sought after game with prices close to 25K at one point during the debacle they had.

The point I make is that Fight Club is a must buy and hold for a core group exactly like TBL. These games are once in a lifetime machines (art) and fans know this, unlike family friendly JP or TS4, which will swap owners many times, you can find them on Craigslist right now.

I don't mean this as a which movie is better argument, both are good, I'm just stating numbers facts and if i'm running a multi million dollar business, I'm definitely looking at these numbers to choose what we build next.

I feel like evil dead is what Ben has been working on for CGC, but maybe it'll be the next spooky and Ben is working on Futurama for CGC and that would be fantastic

I would like to hear everyone’s thoughts regarding bringing back video modes so I created a new topic with a poll. I feel a video mode would work great with Halloween

Feel free to check it out and leave a comment

Is there a rough time frame of when the next pin will be announced. 1 month, 3 months?

Well they are not done with HW and UM just yet but looks like they are getting close, and now TNA new run. Imagine once they are done done with the HW/UM stuff they will start hyping up their next game, TNA might be a gap filler for the moment they are doing. Maybe their next project needs a little more time or still being worked out so they did this small rerun of the updated TNA

Looks like another company might get the jump on fight club.

#11616 68 days ago

I block everyone that mentions BTTF - see you in another life.

#11617 68 days ago

C’mon Spooky this one’s a no brainer, the mechs are done for you (traps), the audio and call-outs are practically done from the films, just get Tobin Bell to do a couple some pinball specific custom call outs and your good to go!

My dream theme from Spooky is The Shining.

I would also love to see Gremlins

#11619 68 days ago

The gremlins would be great. Awesome art!

Quoted from Billygrippo:

Gremlins is a great title, and with all the hijinks.

#11621 68 days ago

Still waiting for The Warriors, with different gangs. That would be awesome. Can u dig it.

I'm also tired of people asking for a game we've told them AIN'T EVAH GONNA HAPPEN but this seems a bit extreme!

#11623 68 days ago

Okay.......can you Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhgggg it? whoa. Agree. Oneangrymo

that would/could be a trippy game. I hear bottles clanking together already.

and.............I was just thinking about "The Shining" this morning. Yep at Daditude.

Incorporating blood flowing down a hallway in some realistic kind of way on a playfield?

That would be bad ass.

I mean they have liquid filled vinyl records.............why not do something like that on a playfield and keep it isolated from mechanisms?

When was the last time CGC put out an original pinball? Emm.... The 4th of Neverary.... Hahaha

#11625 68 days ago

The Shining for me would be a day one CE no brainer. As classic as is it gets…Clockwork Orange as well. Carpenter or Kubrick will absolutely shred my wallet with no complaints.

Still wishing for They Live! Also, I just noticed that one of the first aliens Nada spots when he first finds the glasses, is the spitting image of Mark Zuckerberg. Obviously Zuckerberg has invented time travel and has been back to 1987, when he was only three years old.

Yes to this...

How about.. will we get the next release announcement this calender year?

#11633 63 days ago

As a guy that loves a little macabre in my games...it sure would be nice to get some info (anything really) on the next spooky release.

As an aside... it looks like I am closing in on a deal for my favorite spooky game, Alice Cooper

#11634 63 days ago

I assume we hear something by year end right? They have the license(s)? already...while I hope it's scooby or Evil Dead I'm so open to something else...just depends if it hits home with me. Is the scooby prediction just from bug etc wearing the shirt and the blanket for their dog etc.? I mean could be us making it up or trolling

Congratulations. I love my AC. I can’t see myself ever getting rid of it. I’ve played and enjoyed all the Spooky games, but there’s something special about AC.

Mark Hamill does a great Joker. Watching the Harley Quinn show, I've enjoyed Alan Tudyk's version of Mark Hamill's version of The Joker.

I'll have to check it out. I think having The Joker taunting you throughout the game would be the way to go. Such a great villain.
