You know when you talk about Beetlejuice, I don't know if the studio has full access to the assets. You had a lot of big stars in the movie such as Ryder, Keaton, and the director himself Burton. Tricky title to get the rights to everything. Look at Aliens they have rights to every clip for the game with exception to the movies star Weaver. Picking themes for a company like Spooky, where you don't have the team to create from scratch screen animations... you need full access to assets. You're also chasing themes that Stern or JJP isn't after.

Themes like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure with full assets makes sense and it would be cheaper. Universal Studios Monsters, Friday the 13th, Halloween, all those movies make sense... Fast and Furious makes NO sense.

I'm sticking with what I said Universal Studios theme based on their classic monsters.

Yeah, it's true. Also, I think someone mentioned this before but we are all kind of assuming it will be a horror property, but who knows. They ventured into dark comedy animation. That opens a whole different genre to explore. I agree though, while I'm not clear on how it fits the clues, the universal monster thing makes sense.

I wouldn’t even mind if Spooky did an animated version of Beetlejuice to get around licensing issues. I love the look of ACNC and I trust Spookys aesthetic. If Stern did that...I’d likely have a prob haha

The Monster Squad (option because its a cult classic and it features Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein, Creature)

I'm guessing its one of these. Whatever happens lets pray its NOT Texas Chainsaw because honestly I think that would be going backwards. That franchise just isn't that popular. If it was a slasher movie, I'll take Friday the 13th, Halloween or Jason vs Freddy.

I'd love to see Army of Darkness or even the Thing which again is Universal Studios both movies are.

I think it has to do with Classic Monsters which would include Dracula. Who's willing to give me 10 to 1?

But honestly I think the best pinball to make based on horror would be a horror comedy like Army of Darkness or The Lost Boys.

When we think about Charlie trying to give CLUES... he wore a Bela Lugosi shirt which says Dracula. But it also could mean VAMPIRES.

Lost Boys would 110% be the pinball, Bully the Vampire Slayer, From Dusk to Dawn, Fright Night, Bram Strokers Dracula,

I haven’t seen R&M in person, but the sound and theme integration on ACNC is unreal. Bill & Ted or Blues Brothers or Matrix from Spooky would ruin every other pin for me.

Regarding “more better” though, this line is from Big Trouble in Little China: “Fresh off the boat's the way I like 'em. The more exotic the better.” More better.

How does it work with Spooky’s theme announcement. Do they announce the theme a couple of weeks before order banks open and drop a little video teaser?
I’m trying to figure out how much time I’ll have to contact a distributor and put my name down if it’s a dream theme.

For R&M I think whisper was around Dec 1st, trailer announcement was around Dec 6th and sales officially opened on Dec 16 or thereabouts.

Phantasm always seemed like a no brainer for a pinball theme. Really surprised it was never made back in the 80's. It wasn't so overly popular that the license would have been really expensive to get I would imagine.

I have TNA and R&M and like to buy the next one.

rick and Morty looks like an awesome pin, so does TNA but it is not my style. Rick and Morty is really cool looking, the animations are excellent although I am sure those were taken from the show itself and not custom made or maybe they were?

No idea, really but Rick and Morty looks interesting.
If the next title is something like that I would be really interested, already talked to the Canadian distro.
