    They did not.

    I generally agree with TigerLaw’s assessment, especially points 3 and 4. I was very disappointed with TLJ, and did not have high hopes for this film. I was pleasantly surprised. It is easily the best of the final trilogy, and probably as good as Rogue One.

    Rey rejected her Palpatine / Sith heritage. At the end of the movie, she buried Luke and Leia's light sabers near the wreckage of uncle Owen's place on Tatooine. An old woman asked her who she is, and she replied that she was a Skywalker, adopting the name in honor of her two teachers.
