Many threads ago, someone said "it's just a movie" Dead wrong! Star Wars is a feeling. Sitting in the front row in 1977, I felt the awe and wonder of Star Wars. That feeling did not go away when the movie was over, it always stayed with me. The characters, music, space ships, droids, all of it... Forty years later and I still love Star Wars!
But as Yoda would say.. Failed The Last Jedi has. It's simple, when Luke died, no one cried. The hope, excitement, and sadness of this film is loss. However as a true Star Wars fan, I'm hopeful that the lesson of failure will not be forgotten by the next Disney movie makers.
