According to new court documents obtained by TMZ ... Disney has asked for the wrongful death lawsuit to be kicked out of court, because the plaintiff, Jeffrey Piccolo, agreed to arbitrate all disputes against Disney when he signed up, back in 2019, for a one-month trial to its streaming service.

The show was slightly better than watching flies land and eat shit. I canceled my D+ after one disappointing series after another. IMO the only one decent series was Mando season 1 & 2 season 3 sucked. The competition has actual quality series/movies Amazon, Netflix etc. I cancelled it back in June honestly haven't missed it.

I thought for sure they'd double down on Acolyte & produce Season 2. The usual pattern these days the more fan vitrol there is, the more emboldened the showrunners become, thus destroying all the profitable franchises. Look at Star Trek, Marvel, Doctor Who, etc etc. Can't beat these dead horses much longer.

I think studios are fed up losing billions, seeing rivals go up for sale & watching stock prices tank. The executives jobs are on the line now. The lunatics have been running the entertainment industry for too long & it's time for a correction. This cancellation is a good sign. Things need to change. Deadpool 3 gave fans what they wanted, made tons of money, and was a good wakeup call.

As far as Star Wars, Skeleton Crew will come this year & be immediately forgotten, but at least Lucasfilm isn't committed with too many future big projects. Andor Season 2 will provide a boost, then the Mando movie. Just need a new president with fan pleasing ideas to lead the way.

Marvel has to dump their lousy upcoming content that's already in the pipeline. RDJ was just fan service in the meantime for a quick cash grab. RDJ just a variant Doom character that will be blown up with the rest of the MCU in the last Avengers movie. Fire all the writers who effed up the franchise (which I've heard is already happening). Reboot post-FF and recast A-list legacy heroes with young actors, then finally introduce mutants. Money in the bank

Deadpool & Wolverine honestly was one of the worst movies I've seen this year!!! Great fan service unbelievable chemistry with Reynolds & Jackman. But the movie was all over the place with no stakes and zero consequences. It was funny but towards the end it was more annoying than funny. What ruined the movie was marvel trying to repurpose their multiverse nonsense with Anchor beings and other multiverse bullshitt that they just made up as they went along. And IP flexing of useless cameos boring & pointless.

If I had written this movie it would have been more similar to trains planes and automobiles. I would made the entire plot of Deadpool 3 his mission would have been to break into a secret vault at Disney to re-write the entire MCU. Bang!! Just like that Deadpool would bust open that 4th wall & all fox properties would just magically be in the sacred timeline. At least it would take them less time to get more mutants on screen instead of writing this multiverse crap.

well despite it's many many flaws I'm a little disappointed to not see the story move forward on the Acolyte. It did leave things in an interesting place, about to tie in to the greater story in a meaningful way. Darth Dentures was a pretty good bad guy and a dark side oriented show is fun idea, but, too many flaws, too lameness, so it goes.

From what I've heard, the FF movie is set in a different MCU timeline, which is set in the 1960s, like the first FF comics. Hence the subtitle First Steps could be multiple meanings. First steps into space exploration, first steps into a brand-new MCU main timeline. One that has mutants, unused classic villains, and young versions of all the classic A-list characters. Cut the bs agendas. Just bring those great untapped storylines & characters to a new MCU.

So yeah I expect the MCU to be blown up, all multiverses destroyed, with Reed Richards ensuring only the FF timeline remains. Just like DC/Marvel used do every 25 years in the comics when stories just got too complicated. Sometimes they need to reset with new volumes of Issue 1 for entire lineup, give writers a chance to try something new.

The High Republic Era has been a complete failure, throughout comics, novels & now the TV show. It's a proven financial failure across multiple media platforms. This is not what the majority of fans want. They've thoroughly rejected it since it's introduction. 90+% sales drop of HR content just 2 years after introduction. Even the content geared at young adults went out of print. And this was all BEFORE The Acolyte was released.

Majority of fans want Old Republic or Skywalkers. Kennedy ignores everyone & just forces this crap on everyone.
