I picked up a great condition, working Spirit of 76 and have been trying to resolve this question. I hate Replay at a high score and would rather an extra ball. I looked at the manual and there is no mention of an adjustment from Replay to Extra Ball. However, in the schematics there is the coil (I) for an extra ball for when you get A-B-C-D-E (I think) targets but that also gives a replay instead of an extra ball.

Am I just SOL with trying to get an extra ball on this machine?

Any help would be appreciated.

When you make A-B-C-D-E, the extra ball light should turn on, you will be awarded the extra ball if your ball goes in the center playfield hole.

Your will get an extra play (credit) if the last 2 digits of your score matches the number at the top.
